Here goes another day of moves...
Drayton Valley:
*D #5 Colton Cassidy - no, he didn't move anywhere to my knowledge but I still have him on active on EP with DV as he's yet to play another game for Leduc Riggers (CapJHL - Jr B) since being called up for his lone AJHL game this season, let alone hasn't played hockey there since late September. Am beginning to wonder if he may be hurt and it's just not listed anywhere, kind of like how I only found out about Christian Nypower's injury status from a message from Robb Hunter (Voice of the Bonnyville Pontiacs), as I posted here about it a few days ago. Maybe someone from Drayton's staff might come across this or hear about it and fill me in too... hehe!
*G # 31 Wyatt Dewan - Just incase anyone wonders why I don't mention him up/have him on active DV roster on EP currently; yes I know he's currently listed on DV stats/roster on the AJHL site, but he has not dressed for the Thunder since he was in the St. Paul Canadiens (NEAJBHL - Jr B)'s lineup Nov 30th, at least according to what was inputted to the AJHL site. I checked the game sheets, and it's always been #1 Marc Olivier Daigle and #33 Mitch Maraschiello dressing in December so far. It's the same case with Connor Gaudreau on the Grande Prairie Storm roster (I'll mention more about him later).
*And as I posted earlier, Thunder called up RW #14 Braden Jakubowski & RD/F #5 Joel Webb, who both played.
Spruce Grove:
*RD #4 Clayton Kirichenko is listed on the SG reserve currently, but played last night (was up prior though), but will likely be back to Sherwood Park Kings Midget AAA (AMHL) tomorrow as they play their first game since Nov 29th.
*LW #14 Paul Lovsin - same case, but didn't play last night, and has game tomorrow for St. Albert Raiders Midget AAA (AMHL) he'll all but certainly play in.
*D/F #4 Cole Nicholson - same as Lovsin as he also didn't play last night, and is now on reserve on the AJHL's Saints roster, and will likely be back with Lloydminster Bobcats Midget AAA for game tomorrow.
Whitecourt:
*D #5 Jordan Davies - almost exact same case as Kirichenko, he was already up with Wolverines and he played last night for Whitecourt, and is on their reserve on the AJHL Wolverines' stats/roster. Likely will be back with the Sherwood Park Kings Midget AAA (AMHL) tomorrow too.
Okotoks:
*RW #17 Greg Lamoureux - back from injury and played last night (even though still listed as injured on the AJHL Oilers roster/stats).
*C #25 (previously #14 & #6) Tanner Ockey recalled from Calgary Royals Midget AAA (AMHL) as seen on screenshot below, so I guess he was called up but ended up being a healthy scratch. Likely temporary, as the Royals just so happen to also be playing tomorrow (not going to check, but it kind of looks as if the entire AMHL plays tomorrow/Saturday, honestly... hehe!). Awfully strange about the #25 though... as you can see on the link to the game for Okotoks on Lamoureux's topic - C Sam Plaquin wore #25 last night.... hmm very strange! Got to wonder if Plaquin is being dealt again or something...
Sherwood Park:
*F #16 Dillon Massie - I didn't totally realize it at the game tonight (thought something was up with him playing but had no idea what), but he played tonight in Grande Prairie, back from lower body injury.
*LW #39 Andrew Taverner switched from #21. Could have happened games ago, but I just realized it now. That was another thing I thought looked funny to me, but never put one and one together on it until now.
*As I posted earlier, Cru called up D #26 Isaac Farrah, and he played tonight, as well. Well hot damn... there's at least one AMHL team off tomorrow... haha! His midget team, MLAC Maple Leafs Midget AAA, doesn't play again until Sunday, so he might just be playing here in GP tomorrow night too.
Grande Prairie:
*No callups/APs which isn't too unusual, but LW #26 Jake Matkin has left the team and Storm captain RW #15 Taylor Cote is out for the weekend, as I posted earlier.
*As I posted earlier in this post, G #1 Connor Goudreau has been listed on the Storm's active stats/roster since well, since G #31 Curtis Skip was at the WJAC-19 in Nova Scotia, but he hasn't actually been a backup since a few games prior to Skip's return. Goudreau was backup Nov 2nd, 3rd, down to the Midget AAA Storm on the 6th, back up with the Jr. A Storm on the 8th, then back to the Midget AAA's on the 10th in Medicine Hat. G #1 Scott Legault was up with the Jr. A Storm on the 9th & 10th (though no backup G was listed on the online game sheet, no profile for Legault was created, and Legault cannot be found on AJHL search) - per Jeff Henson on the Free FM broadcast for the Storm; plus I have an email from the league to back it up. I was told that since he didn't play any minutes they weren't going to add a profile for Legault... which I find kind of strange, as they add profiles for everyone who dresses, includes reserves/AP that never actually get called up. Feel kind of bad for Legault because of that - and therefore list him on EP as with the Storm. Anyways though, Skip was back from Nova Scotia as backup on the 16th at home against Brooks, and neither Goudreau or Legault have been dressed for the Storm since... therefore Goudreau should be on reserve/de-listed from the Storm roster/stats now.
Anyways, enough on the AJHL for now... time to fully get caught up on the MJHL for me.
