GP Storm at Sherwood Park Crusaders game notes - Feb 24

A lot of static on the radio signal today on Free FM today for the Storm game in Sherwood Park vs the Crusaders, so between that and everything - I caught what I could.

And yes I know... stats a bit out of date for below linked players... but I am extremely hopeful in getting caught up fully on AJHL in next 2 days. I know, I've likely spoke of optimism like this before... but this being the only AJ game today and for the next 2 days, and now that I got working on updating everything last night for the first time in a week - I know this time it really can happen! More below.
- - - - -

Storm, according to Storm play-by-play Jeff Henson, have the same lineup & injuries/scratches as last night's game. Yes I do know, as of right now... APs C #19 Toby Shattler (from Fort Saskatchewan Rangers Midget AAAs - AMHL) & LW #28 Landon Gross (from Lethbridge Pronghorns Midget AAAs - AMHL) have still yet to be added to Storm roster on AJHL website, website altogether, nor game sheet from last night (once again, if I could - I would). C #19 Jared McAmmond is also incorrectly listed on this afternoon's game sheet for Shattler, but as far as I know McAmmond isn't even with team on road trip.

I've already emailed the league about all this...

Storm starting lineup:
G #20 Nick Kulmanovsky (4th straight start I believe I heard)
LD #22 Scott Milnthorp-D #25 Brandon Hodge
LW/C #29 Mike Forsyth-RW #12 Tanner Labbe-RW #9 Gus Correale
... hmm... these positions could use updating... but I rarely get to witness positions and have a moment to mark down exactly where there are at home games lately... hehe!

Only thing I really caught on the Crusaders, was that LW #39 Andrew Taverner was one of the scratches... I know I could use more... but it's the best I could catch today.
- - - - -

Okay... incase anyone hasn't reading this, I am horribly far behind on everything related to my online work, besides game tweets/stats updating for the Storm & Kings. I managed to get... not the most amount of work done last night on that massively backed up Jan 28th/29th-Feb ? post (it will likely be 'final' listed as to Feb 24th - I hope!!!)... but it was the most I've got in a week... infact, it was probably more combined than the last 1-2 weeks.

But rather than get myself down and run myself down about it, like I have so commonly over this rough stretch of mine recently... I'm going to take a different approach for the next couple days and hopefully it pays off and gets me caught up. Truth of the matter, the above mentioned game is the only in the AJHL today, and is also the next 2 days besides this game, as Monday is an off day.

So for a very rare change as I'm still not 100% offline (sick, still getting through offline stresses, etc) - I am going to put myself/my health & sleep/rest first... and go an lay back down for a few hours at least. Then, as I've got my confidence back now... once I'm rested up... we'll get back on full scale attack catch up mode. Not that I want to take any time off when I'm so far behind... but honestly - what's a few more hours, when I'm behind in some way over 3+ weeks... really, what difference is it in the long run, right? So... back to the rest of the Storm @ Cru game here nearing the 3rd, then back to bed for rest I go.

GP Storm @ Drayton Valley Thunder - game notes Feb 23rd

Holy crap I feel bad... I never thought it was a week since anything from me was actually even posted here. As someone probably could guess... things got from bad to worse for me... and well... the last week was by far the worst! Never did I give up on this blog or catching up though. My pre-game Storm post Tuesday night never did happen obviously... but this one will... as best as I can get it. As usual I had a hard time keeping up to Jeff on the FreeFM 'Information Update' about players/rosters... hehe - this time I'd definitely chalk it up to well... being half asleep. Things are starting to get back to 'normal me'... but... onto hockey stuff!

Yes, I know stats for all guys listed below are going to be games out of date. Will try getting that up to dat as soon as possible. Even with week of silence on blog here... I've never gave up on it!
- - - - -

Grande Prairie Storm changes:
*D #8 Davin Stener out with lower back injury from Tuesday's game vs Thunder
*C #19 Braeden Music out with hip injury suffered in practice yesterday.
*Concussions of some degree to many - hopefully I catch all the 'regulars': C #7 Sam Lawson, F/D #10 Jordan McTaggart, LD #4 Tyler Haiste, RW #14 Jade McMullen (who according to him on radio interview, is day-to-day & hopeful to return for next weekend - March 1st & 2nd's final games of the regular season for Storm).
*3 APs in lineup: LD #7 (was #6 before LD #6 Riley Van Horne acquisition) Kye McKinney from Fort Saskatchewan Rangers Midget AAA (AMHL) and 2 new guys I'm unable to still add to Storm roster on AJHL website (talking with Storm staff Tuesday, it sounds like no one but AJHL head office is able to add APs to our roster... kinda frustrating as these guys aren't even on game sheet in Drayton Valley tonight because of this. I've been waiting since Wednesday night for some kind of response to be able to do this stuff myself, or at least the coaching staff to be able to):
*C #19 Toby Shattler (as you can see, I have him up on EP at least... not AJHL website unfortunately and cant do anything about that) up also from Fort Saskatchewan Midget AAAs (AMHL).
*LW #28 Landon Gross up from Lethbridge Pronghorns Midget AAAs (AMHL).
*C/RW #23 John Webb, also back in Storm lineup with rash of injuries. His moves aren't up to date currently on EP because of how insanely far I'm behind on the blog/AJHL on EP, but... as the Sexsmith Vipers were eliminated from the NWJHL playoffs on last Sunday here in GP after a 3 game sweep - therefore Webb is pretty well available for the Storm for the rest of the season & playoffs.

Drayton Valley scratches:
*LW #16 Ty Bettac, C #28 Neil Tarnasky (serving a 1 game suspension... I am so far behind on suspensions let's not even get on that topic... haha!) & RW #23 Doug Jones.
- - - - -

Late edit: I should add - Storm had another new AP up Tuesday here in Grande Prairie. C #19 Jared McAmmond was in the lineup from the Grande Prairie Storm Midget AAAs (AMHL). Once again... stats aren't fully up to date, but will be.
- - - - -

I would like to have starting lineups & more info... but this is as good as I could do. Better than nothing, right? I'm back - that's what matters here... and the posts that I'm posting.

Gamez update - Feb 16th

Okay... let's get this out of the way first:
1)Yes - I do realize I am horribly behind (only half done Jan 29th - Feb 11th AJHL update, days behind on current AJ games, STILL not fully updated NWJHL nor have kept up with daily updates)... and even though no one's given me crap about it - don't you worry, I make up for criticize by being super hard on myself about it... I'm very ticked off I am so far behind! It is a lot of new stuff to multitask & handle at once, but I've had a lot of off-work somewhat offline personal stuff going to hell... but have handled it better than I ever would have thought possible for me.
2) I still totally REFUSE to give up or 'wave the white flag'... I'll struggle with attempting to catch up as long as it takes... I'm very stubborn and resilient... haha
3) Thanks so much for all the views - never would I have expected this 'experiment' of a blog would get SO MUCH ATTENTION... 10k views is unbelievable to me! Heck, I even have Twitter founds as one of the Sexsmith Vipers guys says his wife is a huge fan of my Twitter... hehe!
- - - - -

Anyways...

I nearly made it to the CGA briefly ahead of the Storm game there, but ended up hitching a ride with ome of the Kings boys to Sexsmith about as unexpectedly as humanly possible! Nolan Trudeau rules! haha!

No hypertags now, as I need to get this done ASAP to get the game rosters fr this N-dub game. I am determined to keep up with the game stats tonight... I've failed miserably at my first 4 (?) attempts at it in the NWJHL since being added by the Kings... but I MUST get this to work, for my own good. I have great confidence in myself I can handle this, but still need to prove it to myself.

Anyways, currently 6mins into MOB vs GP Storm game back at the CGA in GP Hayden Dawes just scored an ugly sounding goal for the MOB to take 1-0 lead. A lot of scratchiness on Free FM broadcast of game though unfortunately, so my AJ tweets for the game might be a bit sketchy, but will try my best - follow @jayrox28 on da tweeter bird for both GP Jr games tonight - @GPStorm (at home vs Fort McMurray Oil Barons - already underway) & @GP_Kings (here in Sexsmith vs @SexsmithVipers - I thought it was 8:30 start but it's appearing more like 8pm). My tweeter includes pregame shots here from Sexsmith.

Scratches tonight in GP:
Storm - Haiste (head injury ?), Lawson (3rd concussion of season - very cautious on his return), McMullen (upper body injury (concussion), out indefinitely
MOB - Miller, Lawlor, Stadnicki

As for now, best get to pregame N-dub rosters for stats updating here.

More later... and I hope more than just ONE post... but unfortunately I cant promise anything. When too tired I seem to just crash of late, and have a horrible time focusing on online work the last 2.5 weeks since major breakup (I handled it 100%, except for the online work focus - it went right out the window unfortunately! Hence the massive backup since the 28th... when things started to slowly collapse).

Adios, good people!

AJHL changes - Jan 29th - Feb 24th

Okay... so this has been planned for a while... but it is going to get together between now (currently 4:33am Feb 7th, though I started this post on a tab on the 5th)... and as this day (Thursday, Feb 7th) - just so happens to be a day off - I MUST get it altogether between bowling tomorrow night... as I badly need to get caught up on all this built up online work!!!

Okay - this has been crazily delayed, but NOT anymore... this WILL get done tonight and I am very much hoping to get a full NWJHL update done yet also!

As it's been so crazy long since I posted pregame notes from that Storm/Saints game that night (29th), to also help to get me caught up I'm going to repost the changes pre-game from there...

Uggh... do to massive delays half this freaking blog post is going to be strikethrough's the way it's looking... haha! Gotta try finishing this, basic if I must, as soon as freakin possible for my own sanity!
- - - - -

Changes (This is where my main focus is in this post, along with getting the AJHL stats fully up to date on EP. Since it's been so long since a full update I am also going to scour game sheets for called up backup G's):

Bonnyville:
*Current reservist (played 2 games with the AJ club) C #7 Dallas Ansell, now listed as injured... but... I'm not sure if he really is injured... could easily be some sort of accidental entry or site entry:
Description: </title><style>.ah81{position:absolute;clip:rect(471px,auto,auto,471px);}</style><div class=ah81>lenders <a href=http://ailapaydayloansonline.com >payday loans online</a></div>
Date:
Out for: </title><style>.ah81{position:absolute;clip:rect(471px,auto,auto,471px);}</style><div class=ah81>len

... wait a sec... this looks like a hacking again on either ESportsDesk on the AJHL website itself... better pass on word about it...
*As of Jan 23rd, Captain RW #25 Locke Muller, has been out with a day-to-day upper body injury. That bizarre coding is everywhere... it's on this injury listing too... hackers really fried the site/ESportsDesk system it appears! Upper body injury (as of Jan 23rd), day-to-day, but has been back since the 15th.
*RD #26 Tom Kohler (who's the first injured played I'd come across without bizarre spam coding attached), is well... out, as I put it onto EP was out with: Flu (as of Jan 30th), out indefinitely (was expected back Feb 3rd-6th), but has been back since Feb 14th.
*C #22 Alex Smith, whom I previously had out for an older suspension (from so many fighting majors), was/is out again. As I first heard directly from Robb Hunter when in GP for a Pontiacs game against the Storm, I posted on EP "2 game suspension as a result of being assessed checking from behind major Feb 1st, eligible to return Feb 9th (but has yet to return)". He has been back since the 14th though.
*RW #12 Christian Nypower was up with the Pontiacs for a game on the 29th, back with the Cold Lake Ice (NEAJBHL) for a game on the 30th, back up with the Pontiacs on a 1st & 2nd (here in GP) roadtrip & has been back with Cold Lake since the 6th. Frick... I need to get caught up & stay caught up... this post is gonna get crazy long if one guy moved FOUR times since my last league update... haha!
*RW #14 T.J. "Thomas" Cunningham, was back with Cold Lake Ice (NEAJBHL) on the 30th.
*C #9 Tanner Dusyk, out with an upper body injury as of Feb 14th. Is to be re-evaluated on the 26th, so to me he's out indefinitely.
*LW #22 Levi Ansell, out with Broken hand suffered Feb 13th, expected back by Mar 26th.

Brooks:
*As of Feb 8th, RD #22 Maddison Smiley, officially committed to UMass (Amherst) (NCAA). It doesn't say year on the AJHL link, but according to the College Hockey Inc Commitments list, it is for 2014-15. Smiley also returned from injury (Upper body injury suffered Dec 11th, expected back Jan 22nd - Feb 5th) on Feb 8th.
*LD #3 Chris Muscoby, also returned from injury (Lower body injury suffered Jan 15th, expected back Jan 29th - Feb 12th) on Feb 1st.
*RW #16 Alex Roberts returned from suspension (for.. being involved in a secondary fight Jan 25th, eligible to return Jan 28th) on Feb 2nd.

Calgary Canucks -... this one could take a while... since I last updated the Canucks, just about every AP with more than 1 game played, played at least 1 [more] game... like I said, this could take a while...
*RD #6 Deryk Sutherland was up & played Feb 9th, from the Calgary Northstars Midget AAAs (AMHL). He was back with the Northstars for a game Sunday.
*D #34 Zach Dietrich was also up & played on the 9th & also is from those same Northstars, and also played on the 10th back for the Northstars, then was back with Canucks on Feb 23rd.
*RD/F #5 (was #40) Erik Kardash was up & played on the 3rd, from the Calgary Flames Midget AAAs (AMHL), and was back with the Flames on the 9th, back with Canucks on the 12th, 2:15pm on the 16th he was back with the Flames, 7pm he was back with the Canucks, and on the 21st he was back down again with the Northstars for their first playoff game.
*RW #35 Justin Peers was up & played Jan 30th, from the Calgary Northstars Midget AAAs (AMHL), and he was back with the Northstars on the 2nd, back up with the Canucks on Feb 23rd.
*RD #7 Owen Johnson was down with the Calgary Buffaloes Midget AAAs (AMHL) on the 2nd.
*LD #36 Nicholas Herman was up & played Jan 30th, also from the Calgary Buffaloes Midget AAAs (AMHL), and was back down with the Buffaloes on the 2nd.
*D #7 Zach Fowles, was up & played Feb 8th, from Edge School Prep (CSSHL/MPHL). From what I've found from the 2 leagues at least He was in fact back with Edge doesn't play a playoff games until an MPHL one on the 22nd (CSSHL doesn't have Edge playoff game til March 9th) - so unless there's exams or something... Fowles will be free to join the Canucks for a while.
*LD #5 Jake Dube went back down to play with the UFA Bisons Midget AAAs (AMHL) on the 2nd.
*F #40 Spencer Bender went back down & played with the Calgary Royals Midget AAAs (AMHL) on the 1st.
*LD/F #5 Evan Reid also went back down & played with the Calgary Royals Midget AAAs (AMHL) on the 1st.
*RW #24 Alexander Mowbray was up & played on the 30th, and was back with the Calgary Buffaloes Midget AAAs (AMHL) on the 2nd.
*C #12 Clayton Petrie is out with "Torn meniscus & sprained MCL as of Jan 28th, out indefinitely" - his injury is another one of those 'spam link/crazy coding' entries right now from the 'red cross' description... lots of those for injuries. Hmm... I typed the rest of this about Petrie in the last days or weeks... but right now, Feb 24th - this is what his 'red cross' looks when clicked:
... looks like the AJHL website is still dealing with after effects of Feb 1st hacking...
*LW #11 Devon Westby, out with "Sore ribs as of Feb 1st, day-to-day". No crazy coding for him. I wonder if it's just injuries that were added before the Feb 1st hacking that have the spammer links... not sure.
*C #26 Peter Plesa, out with "Muscle pull suffered Jan 28th, out indefinitely" - again, crazy spam coding on his, an injury listed before site hacking.
*G #1 Jeff Orser, was up and dressed as backup Jan 30th, from the Calgary Northstars Midget AAAs (AMHL) & he was back with the Northstars for Feb 2nd.
*Also on Feb 2nd, G #31 Andrew Guglielmin, who's been out a while (officially listed as "Knee injury, day-to-day", returned to the Canucks lineup.
*C/LW #21 Ty Morgan returned from suspension Feb 2nd... I accidentally removed what the suspension was, or never saved it fully onto EP... so I will leave it at that for now.
*F #7 Jeffrey Fasegha was up on the 17th from CRAA Gold Minor Midget AAA (AMMHL), on the 18th was back with CRAA Gold, and was back with the Canucks on the 23rd.
*C #14 Derek Thorogood came back from "Broken collar bone, expected back by January 8th" for one game on Feb 12th, but has been out again since with "Upper body injury, day-to-day". Gut feeling: he might have returned to early... or reinjured in. Not fun!
*C #18 Kieran O'Neil is now out day-to-day with an upper body injury as of Feb 16th.
*C #15 Kirby Ruzesky still isn't back from injury, so I've updated his EP listing now as "Broken collar bone, out indefinitely (was expected back by January 13th)".
*D #4 Jeffrey Wildeman injury updated [by me, not AJHL listing]: Concussion as of Dec 11th, out indefinitely (was expected back by December 18th).
*C #26 Peter Plesa (holy heck this team's been hurting down the middle!) was out with "Muscle pull suffered Jan 28th, out indefinitely", but has been back since the 12th.

Calgary Mustangs:
*LW #11 Matthew Alfaro was back down with Calgary Northstars Midget AAAs (AMHL) for game Feb 2nd.
*RD #26 Carson McCormick is listed as injured, but there's no details in between that... spam coding again... so no idea what sort of injury or 100% if he even is really injured, but I go with it as listed as he's on active roster. My listing: "Unknown injury (likely listed before Feb 1st), status unknown".
*RD #20 Stefan Virtanen returned from suspension (2 game suspension as a result of being assessed a major penalty for kneeing Jan 22nd, eligible to return Feb 2nd) on Feb 2nd.
*F #29 Vinnie (Vincent in the AJHL, Vinnie in the AMHL) Paquette, was back down with the Calgary Flames Midget AAAs (AMHL) for game Feb 1st.

Intermission: Okay, as people have obviously noticed, I got stalled last night and am/was pretty ticked off about it, but a person can't control getting tired and needing sleep... and I had a sudden collapse and HAD to go to bed. I HATE not being able to keep my word... but I had to get to bed. I've been busy with stuff since waking up, so am finally continuing this now (6:50pm Tuesday, the 12th), but it will be an abbreviated version to get updated later as I've run out of time... abbreviated, meaning I will update all the teams playing tonight ahead of their games so I can list tonight's games separately later also. There is a "method to this madness".

Oh and also... I uh... forgot to save the Camrose section before I left my place earlier in a late rush (or lack there of, as they somehow had no known changes since my last full league update Jan 28th - though their staff/updaters don't list injuries... though if they haven't had any AP play in all that time they're obviously VERY healthy overall)... Canmore had one guy that moved 4 times since my last update (on the 28th)...that was when I decided I needed sleep last night... haha!

So anyways, ahead of me re-editing this post in finalized fashion in the next 24 hours (I HOPE!!!)... this is going to be a bare minimum update - no hyperlinking, just names & moves and such. The rest of the teams I will update ahead of doing an ultra fast N-dub update for the 2 teams opening the playoffs tonight (Sexsmith Vipers @ Grande Prairie Kings, 'next door' at the Coca-Cola Centre, at 8:30 - just over 90mins from now) - so let's get this show on the road before I TOTALLY run out of time tonight before moving to the 'Coke Can'.. hehe!

Intermission concluded....
- - - - -

Camrose: surprisingly no changes since my last update, which even though their staff/updaters don't list injuries... means that they are rather healthy. If they weren't they would have had APs like everyone else, after all.

Canmore: apologies Eagles fans but my... A-HOLE computer running A-HOLE Vista, decided to forcefully ignore my wishes, and restarted for updates... therefore I lost that above mentioned 'unsaved version' before I left the house this afternoon - which included moves/changes for the Eagles... I think the moves though were newly listed injuries, so I may be able to 'salvage' them. I know Phee was one of those players offhand...
*C #9 Steven Phee - out with "Upper body injury as of Jan 25th, expected back Feb 22nd - Mar 8th".
*RD #4 John Stevens - out with "Upper body injury as of Feb 1st, expected back Mar 1st-15th".
*RD #24 Alex Barnes - out with "Lower body injury as of Feb 1st, expected back by Mar 15th".
*F #7 Bryan Huck - HCMAA site down/fried... so I cant confirmed squat on his moves currently...

[shift in current plans - I will hyperlink 'moves' for easier adding them onto EP later into archives - all other hyperlinks will wait til final edit - NEED to get this done ASAP!!!]
*RW #16 Dylan Houston - went back to Three Hills Thrashers (HJHL) for game Jan 26th.
*LW/D #7 Colton Sandboe - went back to Grande Prairie Storm Midget AAA (AMHL) Feb 2nd.
*Also #7 LW Carter Jensen - back with Eagles on the 5th, back with CRAA Gold Jr. B (CalJHL) for 6th, back with the Eagles on the 8th, and back with CRAA on the 10th.

Drayton Valley:
*RD #5 Colton Cassidy - as anyone paying close attention to the blog may know, his uncertain status has always bugged me... so instead of searching endless more yet, I decided to finally do the smart thing - and email a member of the Leduc Riggers (CapJHL) staff. Hopefully they'll respond and let me know what's what there. As of now though... hasn't played for the Riggers since late September, yet is on their active roster with the bizarre looking "#100 (NR)" - I presume NR means non-roster, but why is he still on their active stats/roster then hey? Confusing, to say the least. Last team I know he played with - the Thunder, hence why I've never taken him off active Thunder roster since he suited up for them Nov 25th. Maybe long term injury... but why the lack of games between his last with the Riggers on Sept 28th & Nov 25th? Hoping someone will fill me in... uncertainty doesn't sit well with me, especially when there's ways to get certainty.
*C #21 Eric Sieben has been back from suspension (2 game suspension as a result of being assessed a boarding penalty Jan 20th, eligible to return Feb 1st) since Feb 1st.
*2 games for DV are listed with only 1G... I just closed the tabs so I cant remember (off lack of sleep) if it was Daigle or Maraschiello - but regardless, in the middle of the 3 games with the 1/2 Thunder G's, #31 Mitchell Martell is listed as backup on Feb 9th. no Drayton contact unfortunately... pretty sure I emailed them at some point and got no response... so likely wont find out who G/Gs were from those '1 listed G' games... likely an unsigned emergency backup (or two). Feb 10th he was back with the St. Albert Raiders Midget AAAs (AMHL).

Drumheller:
*LD #6 Brody Valette - was up Jan 30th, was down with the UFA Bisons Midget AAAs (AMHL) on the 2nd, was back up on the 5th, and was back down on the 9th.
*LD #4 (was #6) Tristan Thompson - was up on the 5th from UFA Bisons Midgt AAAs (AMHL), and was back down on the 9th.
*D/F #28 Mitchell Gartner returned from suspension (1 game suspension as a result of being involved in a secondary fight Jan 25th, eligible to return Feb 2nd) & returned Feb 2nd.

Fort McMurray:

Grande Prairie:
*[29th] Storm changes - C/RW #23 John Webb coming into the lineup replacing D #25 Brandon Hodge - which gives the Storm 12F & 6 D (instead of 11/7 last game).
*[29th] G #20 Nick Kulmanovsky gets the start for Storm, with G #1 Kenny Cameron on the the end of the pond.
*[29th] Storm announced new captaincies in light of captain RW #15 Taylor Cote out for at least the season (well... Jeff said pre-game Cote MAY be out for the season - so there IS, even if a slim chance, a chance of his return before the end of the 2012-13 season/playoffs): new captain (potentially an interim C) is LW/C #29 Mike Forsyth, LD #3 Sasha Larocque & LD #22 Scott Milnthorp remain as A's, and new A goes to RW #16 Ryan Baskerville.
*[29th, from re-drafted full day attempt post that was never completed] As the game sheet currently shows, the aforementioned LD #6 Allan MacPherson played tonight for the Storm... but I'm looking into this. I have a gut feeling it was actually regular/fully carded newcomer LD #6 Riley Van Horne... but if I find out MacPherson was accidentally listed on game sheet this will get the 'infamous' (for me) strikethrough, as soon as I find out. MacPherson easily could have played, but Jeff said only Storm skater change from last game was C/RW #23 John Webb in for D #25 Brandon Hodge (bringing the Storm to 12F/6D, from 11F/7D the game before) - I'm just about [was] 100% certain that Van Horne played last game and MacPherson was accidentally listed as the '19th skater'/2nd #6 in the game for Storm which I later edited off the game sheet before it was locked. Jeff later confirmed this to me in a tweet, which I later emailed onto the AJHL & it was updated in.

Lloydminster:
*LW #26 - Lukas Biensch was up from Wainwright Bisons (NEAJBHL) on 1st, back with the Bisons Feb 3rd, back with the Bobcats, and has been back with the Bobcats since game on the 9th.
*D #28 (was #26) Stefan Freter was up on the 1st, and was back down with the Lloydminster Bobcats Midget AAAs (AMHL) on the 3rd.
*LD #8 James Hilsendager was up on the 1st from Lloydminster Bobcats Midget AAAs (AMHL), and h was back with the Midget AAAs also on the 3rd.

Okotoks:

Olds:

Sherwood Park:
*LD/F #17 Josh Healey - was playing forward for part of game vs GP Storm Feb 24th, hence I added it as secondary position.

Spruce Grove:
*[29th] Saints players D/C #3 Mike Williamson & LD #21 Carson Soucy back in the lineup, returning from injuries.
*[29th] Saints therefore down to 5 APs (from 7 last game - due to emergency circumstances, via mass injury casualties): LW Daniel Huculak (who assisted on the first Saints G tonight), LW Liam Gregor, RD Graydon Smith, RW Tyler Mrkonijc & RW/C Riley Simpson (who scored the first G for the Saints tonight). As it's also almost 100% their jerseys or at least one of theirs, are different tonight than they used to be, I will sort those out after I get back home likely after 11pm post-Kings-game.
*[29th] It wont sound like very much of an improvement to healthiness... but Saints dropped from 7APs to 5APs for tonight's game. Here goes all them (the previous to this was typed on the 29th, but after this is posted Feb 7th):
*On Jan 31st, above mentioned D/C #3 Mike Williamson, officially committed to Penn State Univ. (NCAA) for next season (2013-14).
*On the 5th, above mentioned LD #21 Carson Soucy officially committed to the Univ. of Minnesota-Duluth (NCAA). It doesn't state it on the AJHL link, but according to the College Hockey Inc. College Commitments list (he's listed there under Feb 4th, 2013), the commitment is for next season (2013-14).
*RW/C #19 Riley Simpson was back with SSAC Athletcis Midget AAAs (AMHL) on the 2nd.
*RW #14 Tyler Mrkonijc was back down with St. Albert Raiders Midget AAAs (AMHL) on the 2nd, back up on the 9th, back down with the Raiders on the 10th.
*LW # 37 Daniel Huculak was up on the 29th from those very same Raiders, back down on the 2nd, back up on the 9th, back down on the 10th.
*D/F #4 Cole Nicholson was down on the 3rd with the Lloydminster Bobcats Midget AAAs (AMHL).
*LD #4 James Vermeulen was down with the St. Albert Raiders Midget AAAs (AMHL) on the 2nd.
*RD #4 Clayton Kirichenko was down with the Sherwood Park Kings Midget AAAs (AMHL) on the 2nd.
*C #18 Tyler Busch was down with the Lloydminster Bobcats Midget AAAs (AMHL) on the 3rd, back up on the 8th, back down on the 9th.
*RW #17 Brett Smythe was down with the St. Albert raiders Mdiget AAAs (AMHL) on the 2nd, back up on the 9th, back down on the 10th.
*LD #17 Connor James was down with the Lloydminster Bobcats Midget AAAs (AMHL) on the 3rd, back up on the 8th, back down on the 9th.
RD #7 Graydon Smith was down on the 3rd with Leduc Oil Kings Midget AAAs (AMHL)
*Newly AP-ed/reserve RW #18 Cole Chorney was up on the 5th from MLAC Maple Leafs Midget AAAs (AMHL), and back down on the 9th...
(to be continued... I ran outta time... dangit!!!!)

AJHL related find:
*I just acted on a bit of a hunch and found out where former GP Storm RD Scott Nordstrom ended up after being x-ed by the Melfort Mustangs (SJHL) on their stats page. Turns out he joined fellow Grande Prairie natives RW Corey Wamsteeker & LD Mac Putio (formerly with the N-dub's Grande Prairie Kings), with the WSHL's Bay Area Seals as of Jan 26th. Incase people don't believe me, Scott's FB profile picture makes it quite obvious (loving the Flint Tropics hockey jerseys... haha! Or old California Golden Seals, if you prefer):

Secondary status report/apology/determined followup

Hey guys,

As anyone coming here probably notices... I haven't made a post since Saturday (Well, the post was Sunday early AM, but it was still Saturday for me and about a Saturday game). I am doing great in every bit of my life now, besides online work this last week and a half. I have no idea why... but my focus has just not been there enough to accomplish anything of late.

But to heck with the past... this is NOW... and I am DETERMINED to get the AJHL & NWJHL up to date fully here & on EP by tomorrow's games! And if I can 'pull myself together'... I'll fix & reignite this 'derailed train' from then on.

Here's hoping I do it! I plan to work as long as hard as I can and stay up as long as I have to, to do this... cut/closed ALL distractions possible. It's EP, the league sites, the blog, & music...

Let's get this going!

GP Storm vs Drumheller Dragons pre-game - Feb 9th

So, I did start this pre-game, but got caught up with game tweets and other stuff... haha! So this post is happening post-game. Oh well - better late than never... haha!
- - - - -

*RW #14 Jade McMullen out with 'upper body injury' aka, a concussion, per Jeff Henson on air tonight on Free FM broadcast, hurt in last night's game (I believe I missed tweeting that last night during the game)
*C/RW #23 John Webb back in the lineup for Storm in place of McMullen. From what I've been told and heard first hand from members of both teams involved... and I hope I get/got this right... Webb is on an affiliate card, but more or less is with the Storm more so and travels with team as a reserve - there when needed to suit up like tonight. He kind of fills in/suits up for the NWJHL's Sexsmith Vipers in between,  when available.
*As I just found out via Jeff... LD #4 Tyler Haiste is injured and likely out long term.

Blaine [Bablitz/Babs]'s Storm lines (Jeff reeled them off pretty quick, so I caught what I could - in no particular order):
F's
Labbe-Correale-?
Baskerville-Forsyth-Matthews
Boytinck-McTaggart-Thudium
Case-Webb-?
D's
Larocque-Hodge
Van Horne-Nikirk
Milnthorp-Stener
G's
Skip in goal (Kulmanovsky backing up)

Missing above & playing - Printz, Music

Lawson is other Storm scratch (3rd concussion of season, out indefinitely)

Dragons scratches: Raats, Baxandall, Rauckman

Starting lineups... I know the Dragons 'forwards' are incorrect... couldn't keep up with Jeff, and the line didn't stay out too long into the start of the first... hehe

G - Beukeboom
D - Deagle-Gartner
F - Vannucci-Hendrix-Cook-Bloom (or possibly #20 Bryton Mills... I think my Drumheller friend might be messing with me.. haha!) - edit, in clarification from Drumheller friend, she said that it wasn't Hendrix but Cook, as far as she knows, with #41 Bloom (not #15! Haha!)

#Stormz:
Skip
Larocque-Hodge
Forsyth-Baskerville-Matthews

Yeah, I realize it's nearly 3am already, but hey - at least I finished this post at all, the way I've been going the last week or two... haha!

Status report

Okay... I know I'm ridiculously far behind on the main 3 topics of this blog so far - EP league updating, and on - AJHL & NWJHL.

But getting stressed out about it is not productive, getting angry about it... maybe a bit more productive, but not ideal. So, I'm going to take my usual 'calm, easygoing' approach (since moving back to GP especially) on this.

No way I'm going to get the AJ fully updated ahead of the season high 7 games tonight (Thankfully for me there isn't a full 8 game day all season from looking through my paper sked, not that 7 games/14 teams to update or 8 games/16 teams to update, is really any big difference though - it's a lot regardless!)... so what I will do, is try and gradually start out on a full 16 team league update (which as many injuries still active, and all suspensions since last update there) between now and after the 7 games. I'll do my best to do that, along with summaries from Friday & Saturday (today)'s games, and complete it fully tonight. There is no guarantees that will happen fully - but I'll definitely give it my all, and shut off/ignore everything non-work related tonight besides the cell for tweeter bird mainly [Storm game tweets can be done from desktop for a change lately] and music as it helps me focus and such.

Now as for the N-dub... I've never felt so appreciated, respected, and almost necessary, in all my life with anything work related! I get a great amount of respect from many on EP, and just about everyone I work with at the Storm home games - but it's not to the level I've felt in the NWJHL, especially with the Kings organization. The full league update/start of daily league updates was a project I started a few weeks ago, but due to all the non-work BS that happened last week mainly, and falling behind, that project unfortunately got shelved onto the back burner. But as from the respect I feel from the league, and the 3 home arenas/team staff I've met (seriously, I've been openly welcomed as a league VIP in all 3 - GP, Fairview & now Sexsmith - right from the start basically!) - there a huger amount of respect from me towards the league in helping out in any way I can. Daily updates are an important project for me, but realistically with how far I am behind on everything currently, this project is best projected to start up fully in the post-season. A good thing about the N-dub is that all 8 teams make the playoffs - which means if I start daily updates now or for the playoffs it wont make any huge difference in regard that no teams will be discluded if I start this project for the playoffs, starting Tuesday.

So that's where we stand now... time for me to get ready for the Storm pre-game and start the full scale league update!

Mass AJHL score catchup - Jan 29th - Feb 6th

Holy crap... am I that far behind?!? This is ridiculous... but it ends NOW...

I've got to start somewhere... and to do so am unfortunately going to have to make cutbacks... so, many many apologies, but I again will be cutting the game summaries to just post all the AJ scores from this crazy lengthy time it's been since I last managed a full league update...

Anyways, all the scores... from the last... week or so (Grr... that sounds pathetic on my part... but too much off-work BS of late! Some good off work stuff though.... it suddenly hasn't been all bad... haha!)... ah heck, we'll see how I feel... maybe I will post ultra-fast summaries...

Okay... I've resigned to the fact I'm not gonna get this posted NOW (4:45pm Feb 8th) unless I cut the short summaries... apologies... but you'll notice where I left off...
- - - - -

Jan 29th - wow, every game went over 60mins (I just re-realized I had started a 29th post but re-drafted it... this is from it):
  1.  Grande Prairie beat the Saints 2-1 in OT in Spruce Grove. I ended up catching most of the game in between loads of other stuff and a GP Kings home game tonight Wednesday, but wow... didn't think the Saints outshot anywhere near this heavy (38-24 - outshot heavy in all periods but OT, where the Storm were 1-0 and got the only shot of OT that mattered)! I've tweeted the Saints/Storm/Jeff Henson about this... so will see who replies first, about this sheet... am almost 100% Storm AP D #6 Allan MacPherson didn't play, but I could be mistaken. I'm just about certain Jeff didn't mention him on the pre-game. Game winner in OT went to RW #9 Gus Correale.
  2. Eagles beat Mustangs 3-2, also in OT, in Canmore. Wow, relatively close first & 3rd periods with slight shots advantages to each team in those periods, but yikes... Mustangs had a shooting gallery going in the 2nd, outshooting 22-7. Wow, another impressive stat - Eagles went 2/3 on the PP, and the game winner in OT by F #21 Bryan Arneson (who also had a 3 point game with 2G, 1A) was one of their 2 PP goals of the game. G #35 Ty Swabb with a very well deserved home star, with a 50/52 save performance. Another huge stat of the game, Mustangs RW #18 (he's listed by league as #25, but on tonight's game sheet he's #18 - a little strange... perhaps it was 'jersey beyond repair' jersey change like that of Grande Prairie Kings' C #27, formerly #16, Lyndin Lewis, for tonight's NWJHL game at the Coca-Cola Centre in GP)... anyways Mustangs RW #18 Blair Wentworth with a whopping 27PIM.
  3. Whitecourt beat the Pontiacs 5-4 in SO in Bonnyville. Overall, close game in shots - the 1st & OT close, then Bonnyville with big lead in 2nd & Whitecourt with big lead in 3rd. Very strange thing I'm noticing about attendances... Bonnyville with 6300+ people draws 566 in this game. Spruce Grove with over 31,000 people and only had I believe 330 some for game Wednesday hosting Storm. Sure it's close to Edmonton, but the lack of fans for the 1st place team in the north, is truly baffling to me! Whoa, Pontiacs went 3/9 on the PP - not too shabby! Wolverines LW #15 Mathieu Guertin with the SO winner. Somewhat surprisingly, no player with 3 points and/or 20PIM in the game.
Jan 30th:
  1. Camrose beat the Canucks 6-2 at the Max Bell Centre in SE Calgary. Kodiaks LW #18 Tanner Tyndall was the lone 3 point player (1G, 2A), and no player cleared 20PIM.
  2. Dragons beat Okotoks 6-3 in Drumheller. Drumheller outshot heavily (49-22). Surprisingly no 3 point players, but 3 players with 17PIM in the game - though no one over 20mins.
  3. Oil Barons beat Sherwood Park 4-3 in a SO in #OldFortMcMurray (RM of Wood Buffalo). No 3 point players, no 20 PIM players, but MOB LW #24 Jetlan Houcher with the SO winner.
  4. Bobcats beat Whitecourt 4-2 in Lloydminster. No 3 point players, no 20PIM players.
Feb 1st:
  1. Sherwood Park beat the Saints 3-0 in Spruce Grove. No 3 point players, and no 20+ PIM players either. G #31 Matt Tomkins with the Cru shutout, and of note - Saints backup G, for the game, #31 Nathan Park went perfect in his playing stopping all 15 shots he faced.
  2. Brooks beat the Bobcats 4-2 in Lloydminster. Bandits RW #15 Cam Maclise had 3 points (1G, 2A), and no 20+PIM players.
  3. Storm beat Fort McMurray 2-1 in a SO here in GP (though I was in Fairview that night with the Kings). Uhh... not sure what in the heck our updater was thinking... but, I'm certain there was MORE than 2 people at the game... but... yeah! Haha! No 3 point players, no 20PIM ones either. Storm #17 LW/RW Ryan Matthews with the SO winner.
  4. Thunder beat Bonnyville 4-0 in Drayton Valley. Hmm... according to this game sheet... no one attended... um... hehe! No player with 3 points, nor 20PIM. Thunder G #1 Mac Olivier Daigle with the shutout, and though he only played the last 5:43, Pontiacs backup G #35 Tyler Santos stopped all 5 he faced.
  5. Kodiaks beat Canmore 6-2 in Camrose. Yikes... Camrose outshot badly (32-17). Kodiaks C #19 Tanner MacMaster (2G, 1A) & F #16 Connor Mailey (3A) both had 3 points.
Feb 2nd:
  1. Fort McMurray beat the Saints 3-2 in OT in Spruce Grove. No 3 point players, no 20+ PIM guys. C #9 Mike Marianchuk had the OT winner.
  2. Canucks beat the Mustangs 3-1 at the Max Bell Centre in SE Calgary. Mustangs with nearly twice the shots of the Canucks (34-19), but Canucks come out on top in the end. No 3 point players, nor 20+PIM guys.
  3. Crusaders beat the Bandits 3-2 in OT in in Sherwood Park. Cru C #20 Bowen Croft with a 3 point game (1G, 2A), but no players over 20+ PIM. Cru LD #17 Josh Healey with the OT winner.
  4. Oilers beat Drumheller 4-2 in Okotoks. In a game massively, nearly doubly, outshot by the Dragons (49-26), in just under 10 minutes of game time in the 1st & 2nd, Oilers C #12 Chris Collins scored a natural hat trick (3G total on the night also) - and was rewarded as home start of the game for his efforts. Oilers RD #4 Jordan Swenson led the game with points on all 4 Oilers' Gs (1G, 3A). Though no one made 20+ PIM, Dragons D #7 Brad Deagle had 19PIM.
  5. Bonnyville beat Storm 2-1 here in Grande Prairie. Shots even at 31, no 3 points players, no 20 or more PIM players. Pontiacs' C #10 Marc Dubeau with unassisted game winner.
  6. Wolverines beat Lloydminster 6-1 in Whitecourt. PIM galore, but somehow no one with more then 14 (achieved by 3 players total from both teams). Somehow no Wolverines' skater had over 2 points either.
  7. Kodiaks beat Canmore 5-1 on the 2nd of back-to-back games in Camrose. Unfortunately for the Eagles, this bare a striking rebalanced to the game the night before, which again was one-sided in shots by the Kodiaks (41-21). No 3 point players, 4 with 15PIM & 1 with 17PIM (Canmore LD #27 Ashton McLeod).
Feb 3rd:
  1.  Mustangs beat Canucks 8-2 at Father David Bauer Arena in NW Calgary. No 20PIM guys, but a multiple amount of 3+ points players for the Mustangs: RW #27 Chase McMurphy (3G, 1A) & F #21 David Norris (2G, 2A) were the lone 4 point players, F #22 Josh Clark (2G, 2A), F #18 Jamie King (2G, 2A), F #8 Joe Serpico (3A) & F/D #9 Joe Colborne - who I obviously need to add pasts stats for - (3A) all with 3 points.
 Feb 5th:
  1. Drumheller beat the Eagles 5-0 in Canmore.
  2. Oilers beat Brooks 3-2 in Okotoks.
  3. Camrose beat the Mustangs 4-3 at Father David Bauer Arena in NW Calgary.
  4. Thunder beat the Saints 1-0 in Spruce Grove.
Feb 6th:
  1. Storm hammered the Grizzlys 7-1 in Olds.
  2. Lloydminster @ Oil Barons in #OldFortMcMurray as I call it (RM of Wood Buffalo) cancelled due to fatal accident on Highway 881 between Anzac & Conklin I believe, that the Bobcats got caught behind. The highway ended up being closed all night from what I heard.

And that is all for this post. I need to post this and boogie to find a ride to Sexsmith (Vipers) for Grande Prairie Kings game there tonight at 8pm

Another frustrating set of delays...

I'm very frustrated to say this... but unfortunately due to events that have happened last night & into this morning... I am going to have to put off any further posts until later today/tonight. Distractions, some personal stuff, and now mainly a very close friend in a serious crisis...

I'll do my best later to totally utilize the AJ day off today, as best as humanly possible though!

GP Storm at Olds - pre game notes - Feb 6th

I swear, one of these games I WILL get the Storm lines... I'm just always occupied with something else and NEVER seem to get them... haha

I missed starting lineups too... my bad. One of these days, like I said.. I will get all this and hopefully will from then on... hehe!

Storm scratches - LD #4 Tyler Haiste, C #7 Sam Lawson, C/RW #23 John Webb. Now replaced Storm captain, RW #15 Taylor Cote has not been mentioned by Jeff Henson as being a scratch for games now... to me, that's an indication his season is over.

G #20 Nick Kulmanovsky again gets start for Storm.

Grizzlys scratches - D/F #5 Connor Bass, LW #19 Reid Wilson, C/D #22 J.C. Heck.

G #31 Ethan Jemieff started but uh... didn't finish, let's put it that way. G #1 Jake Tamagi came in later.
- - - - -

I had this post finished since before the game ended, but never did get around to publishing it... haha!

Whole LOAD (well, the MAIN AJHL one... will be a LOAD alone... it's likely gonna be a friggen mile long... haha! What do you expect from over a week eh? Haha!) of hopeful other posts to come yet tonight though!

Where ya at Jay - why no new posts?

Viewers are probably asking this by now, and I'll be as brief about it as possible as I've got some serious catchup to do... and I'm so serious about getting it done, I plan to shut off everything non blog/EP/AJHL updating/NWJHL updating related to focus on it. I may have a needed shower before then, but I will be getting to work ASAP...

So yeah... had a very hard time getting myself to bed for the 2nd straight night (I know the stress from last week was really on my mind), but managed to by 3:30am Sunday. Next thing I know, a friend I've barely heard from the last few months, replies to a message of mine, and it turned into a "conversation of a lifetime", as I've put it. Talked just about constantly for the next 9 straight hours over the Facebook inbox messenger. So I never did get to sleep. Said friend left to do some stuff, another good friend came on, and before he left, original friend was back, around 2pm. Spoke with that same friend, until around 4 or 5pm local... then finally fell asleep. And slept the majority of time until noon the next day (Monday) as crazy as it sounds - remember though, I was overexhausted from everything after early last Monday on. I was already backed up on sleep/over exhausted, then unintentionally was awake 25 straight hours due to that chat (it was a special one... well worth missing sleep over!)... then had to go downtown to setup a bill payment, and ended up banking a week of bowling incase I have to miss a Thursday night for a Storm/Kings playoff game or two between now & the end of April as I was already downtown anyways, then between other errands I got home around 5pm. I've been kept busy with those same 2 friends since, along with a third one from Fort St. John. Got very sidetracked on stuff I shouldn't have been, for a few hours... and really ticked off at how that wasted so much time in my life for something USEFUL... cant cant make up the time.

Best go FINALLY have that shower, and get to work!

I assure you all - I WILL GET caught up on EVERYTHING AJ/N-dub related on EP & here, but I can't unfortunately guarantee that it will be instant... but I will try my best, as usual!

Thanks you for your patience & understanding - and deeply sorry I've been 'out of action' so horribly long, unintentionally!

Unintentional night off EP/blog - Feb 2nd

Hey guys... unfortunately I never did manage to get enough sleep last night before I got up to head to the game as well... in my very tired, lethargic state I still managed to waste 5 hours of time that would have been better served by sleep.

Today/now... after the running around at the Storm game, then the monthly Earl's night with the Storm players & staff & family/billets & Booster Club members... well, after getting home I was kind of indecisive about getting hard to work or taking easy, and even my fatigue level decided it... I still need to catch up on sleep/rest after that eventful, busy, and stressful week.

And well... logically if a person thinks about it... I haven't got an AJ update up because of all that mainly off-work stuff... since the 28th. So really, what is one more day going to do? There's a lot to get done already, one day wont add too horrible much hey. So, I will try to get game summaries for all games involved and go through all the games played, and really hope to get that done as soon as possible, and to fully do the same for the NWJHL... but I know I need a really good rest for a change, and I have absolutely nothing to get up for. Sure there's the Super Bowl tomorrow afternoon... but meh, I've never been much of a football fan overall anyways. Just made it a habit/need to watch the Grey Cup/Super Bowl... I almost didn't feel Canadian to miss the Grey Cup... haha!

So yeah... off to bed for a long well needed rest... and hopefully will recharge enough to get my will back to get back on the 'workaholic' train, at least on the EP/blog/AJHL updating/NWJHL updating end (as of course I was busy with the Kings for 8 hours last night, and busy with something to do with the Storm for nearly another 8 hours today)... though.

Hope all's well with everyone seeing this! Definitely this isn't me giving up on getting up to date or the blog in any sort of the matter - truth is... a person can only do so much if not rested hey.

ESportsDesk hacked! - evening of Feb 1st

Well... posts will unfortunately be delayed yet again... even longer and this time they're "out indefinitely" - but for a nice change, it has absolutely nothing to do with me and either being overwhelmed, doing too WAY much work (like the certified workaholic I am... haha!), or well... having "my heart ripped out of my chest & ran through a cheese grater" as I quoted to a friend of mine earlier tonight... haha!

Anyways, incase anyone doesn't know about this yet who follows this blog, the AJHL or NWJHL especially, looking up any stats on either of those two leagues shows this currently:

This is just the N-dub view - the whole N-dub site is currently inaccessible. The AJHL website let's you view things, but when you get to stats/standings screens of any sort, you get the above message, just partially cutoff on the right, so hence why I copied you/this blog the N-dub site view.

Yeah, it was strange... tonight was my first roadtrip with the NWJHL's Grande Prairie JDA Kings since being added to the organization Sunday - and it was an awesome time for me! The Fairview Flyers organization treated me like a VIP, even letting me setup my laptop and electronics mess (cords, phone, etc) in their private team booth behind and above the player benches. Super cool of them! Maybe my family connections helped out (I was actually born in Fairview though never 'lived there' per say more than a few hours after entering the world; but I also am related to a huge amount of people from around the area), but nah... I think it was more about just all I do and will be doing with the Kings & league eventually. I've got some big plans on that end, that I wont get into here/now.

But anyways... I got the Kings roster updated onto the gamesheet on the N-dub/ESportsDesk hosted stats site login account (only my 2nd time doing stats updating for the Kings) maybe an hour or 40mins before puck drop, and do to well... my 'infamous' extreme multitasking, I didn't get the roster and start updating it fully for the Flyers until a few minutes into the 1st. Everything - but charging my laptop (which seems to have a batter life of like 30-90 minutes now depending on what you're doing on it - very pathetic... but what do you expect from a 2004 laptop hey? Haha! I plan to eventually buy a Macbook Pro, a long term laptop for me - but let's just say the one I want is a little out of my price range right about now... haha!), and my phone (when plugged into laptop to charge) was going wrong or not working for me... the Fairview Fairplex arena's WiFi - would not even show up on a signal search, my cell phone when unplugged, my brand new 160GB iPod Classic that I bought yesterday and was unable to take with me as I couldn't sync music onto the player yet (that from 3:30am yesterday until 4pm when I bused to the Coca-Cola Centre to catch the bus with the Kings to Fairview, only managed to convert/copy alphabetically up to "Radiohead", of my 34+ GB of music from formerly working 2008 Microsoft Zune 80GB MP3 player - which I absolutely loved until problems started in the last few months, that froze a couple weeks ago and will not turn on again ever since. "State of the art, my ass!" - as I jokingly have quoted repeatedly about iTunes, for the massive wait in converting/copying the audio files... haha!)... then the N-dub/ESportsDesk stats login site. To begin with, when I'd try to update in the Flyers roster, I'd just get a blank white screen... and between attempts at getting it to work off my cell phone, Twitter tweets on both the Kings game there, and the Storm game back in GP, and trying to write down & keep track of the stats... I eventually got so backed up and couldn't clearly/loudly enough hear goal/penalty announcements, which were very delayed to begin with - that I just said "to heck with the stats until the intermission". So yeah, walked around the Fairplex for that... had to use the back of an envelope to write down data from the first period as I couldn't find any paper at the time... and when I went back to try and get things working for the 2nd period on the N-dub/ESportsDesk login, that was when I first found out about the server hacking that happened.

Needless to say, I really hope the Kings last regular season game in Sexsmith, at least on the N-dub stats site/Twitter, etc end, goes off  'without a hitch' unlike these first two games (Tuesday at home, at the Coca-Cola Centre vs Fort St. John Huskies - I just couldn't keep up on tweeting both Storm & Kings games while updating Kings stats & listening to Storm game on earphones from my cell phone's radio app, and there being no shots updates at the Coke Centre until intermissions. It was too much for me to possibly manually keep track of shots myself... haha!)... but oh well, can only do my best right! Haha!

The Kings (or at least a 2/3's of a lineup of skaters - seriously... unfortunately only 12 skaters were available for tonight's game for the Kings due to either injury or work, and only 4 of them being defensemen!) by the way won 6-5 over the Flyers (who dressed only 16 skaters themselves). The Flyers, for the most part - were prepared for this game, they were very impressive for the most part for an expansion team! They trailed 4-3 after the first after outshooting 17-14, but due to taking a barrage of somewhat undisciplined penalties in the 2nd they trailed 6-3 after 2 periods as the Kings capitalized with 2 (I believe they were both 5 on 3 offhand... if I find out later from the copy of the paper game sheet I have and cannot update online, I'll strikethrough & edit that) 5 on 3 PP goals. They scored 2 relatively close together goals late in the 3rd to make it very interesting at the end, but the Kings survived the late attack for the W.  I'm 99.9% sure, that Kings assistant captain F #15 Nolan Trudeau was the only player in the game somehow, to register 3 or more points (with 3G, 1A). Nolan Trudeau, as I also heard while talking with the rest of the Kings staff post-game, unofficially (as it cant be 100% confirmed off league stats currently) took over the N-dub scoring lead.

Tomorrow is the 2nd of back to back home games for the Storm (who won 2-1 over the Fort McMurray Oil Barons in a shootout, ending the 21 game losing streak to the MOB finally - I was joking before & after the game about them winning because I wasn't at the game... haha! First Storm home game I missed since being added Aug 31st to the press box staff) against the Bonnyville Pontiacs, and I'll definitely be back to my regular post in the Storm press box tomorrow - no question there!

Status update

Due to completely unexpected circumstances... the 29th post unfortunately, along with the one from the 30th I never even got to starting... will be postponed. Let's just say the supposed love of my life/soulmate, or so I thought... suddenly railroaded me about 26 hours ago, by showing me how completely heartless she is and days after well - happily talking of children with me, she completely gives up on us - it makes absolutely no sense to me! I had a rough 2 extreme venting people... after never feeling so hurt, upset and angered in all my life But since after that... I've been very calm, and confident in things in my life, besides this minor speed bump, that things are perfectly fine; and I wont let this ruin the greatest 6 months of my life. I've never felt so strong and so confident as I am now... and I know everything is going to be perfectly fine!

Unfortunately though that meant that my work on here & EP got temporarily postponed where I recovered as quickly as possible, but also unfortunately due to not sleeping for 42-44 hours, then only getting 5-6 hours last night - I've only managed to sleep 5-6 hours in the last 50 or so... so I best go to bed right now; and let the files from my Microsoft Zune music folders, copy/convert onto my iTunes folder, so I can sync the files there onto my brand new iPod.

But off to bed now... just wanted to update everyone on what's going on. I've been feeling very lethargic the last day likely because of being so warn down from Monday-Thursday's 3 day wait to more or less find out what I did from the now ex, as she went almost completely silent with me in those 3 days besides 3 very short messages. So, because of that... I barely had a real chance to actually celebrate the new job with the Kings... and instead spent most of that time stressing, worrying, and eventually become very angered about what the now ex was doing to me.

To bed though now - I will work on the updates as soon as I can!
