Jay out indefinitely with 'upper body injury'

Hey everybody... while I'm still able to look at the screen and type half decently... thought I'd update this...

My health has taken a nosedive since Saturday night, and I'm basically I'm "out indefinitely" from everything. I've got to focus on my health and take care of myself for once... I'll try to be back active as soon as possible. Let's just say those headaches from... all hockey season basically, have morphed and the issues are... insane! I'm extremely eagerly awaiting a CT Scan ASAP as one is open for me...

That's all for now...

Daily update

Unlike yesterday, I managed to actually post on the blog here... but like yesterday, stats are fully updated again.

Lots more I want to get to, but not now... but per the usual, the AJHL & NWJHL are up to date on Elite Prospects.

There is still, the NWJHL discrepancies. I am working to get things exact on the league site... but as far as I know, what I have on EP is correct. I'm literally updating a few teams by new game sheets, to get games from now accurate including corrections from past games. I'm hoping things will be exact and match on both soon though... hopefully.

Enough for now, need to get some rest and be up sooner than yesterday. Hopefully will get to more tomorrow. A rare day off in both leagues... so I must make use of it!

Caught up, yet again

Hi there peoples!

I got the NWJHL & AJHL updated again, but took this late this morning to do it... well, not that late I guess as I was in bed before sunrise... haha!

As per the usual... NWJHL game sheet discrepancies. No idea... but I'm going to try getting paper sheets of every game Kings play, at the last. Last game in Beaverlodge for example... Kings had a full 18 skaters dressed & playing, and one healthy scratch... and only 16 skaters are listed on the online game sheet. So I don't know what's going on. Starting to wish/wonder/think of inquiring to see if I can get paper faxes sent to me to check over.

Anyways, more later. Off to the Coke Centre for Sexsmith Vipers @ GP Kings.

Apologies for lack of updates

Hey hockey fans....

Sorry about my recent disappearance here... it definitely has not been on purpose.

I'll try and logically make sense of all this to see if it will make sense...

So Tuesday evening, my ever annoying Samsung Galaxy Ace Q cell starting going... completely insane and demonic for a good 4 hours. When I eventually unplugged it (as turning it off didn't quick it's... possession) it wouldn't turn back on. My best explanation is... 'it passed away due to complications from being an obsolete piece of junk'... haha!

Ended up going to cell provider and getting a loaner cell phone - a Samsung Galaxy S. I believe I had the exact same one as a loaner for 4-5 weeks last March also.

So yeah - tried to go to bed early-ish that night, but... my lower right jaw started to worsen out of nowhere, and has been in iffy condition since a sensitivity test done on it along with a molar on the lower left side that got a root canal a week or two prior. Called my dentist's office and left a message around 11pm or something to see if I could get in as soon as possible as I'd "likely be downtown most of the day".

Then as I'm about to get ready for bed, my desktop computer installed an Windows Update and it went insane! Running programs stopped showing on bottom taskbar, restarts didn't fix, even it did come back after a 2nd or 3rd reset BUT it starting with an insane zoom on the screen. No idea why it did that, so had to manually change the screen resolution and never did put it back where it was before. Anyways, my efforts there killed 2-3 hrs of sleep. By the time I laid down it was like 5am.

8:20am, dentist office called and as they were slow - told me to come ASAP. So I go there, it's deemed needing a root canal. I didn't expect to be fully covered for a 2nd one in weeks... but it happened (I bought lottery tickets that day due to that insane luck! Won $2 on the first one already... haha!)... and unexpectedly got a root canal done. Also in there, my dentist found a blockage in my salivatory gland that I knew was there for a year or two but thought nothing of it as it never bothered me. He wanted me to see my doctor ASAP - and I got an appointment for 3:30pm.

Went over to my cell provider @ 11:45am, and even though I got a new decent loaner cell - I got help offers from 2 anonymous friends to help cover my cell phone buyout, and activation of a brand new cell - to... avoid similar cell problems as I've had the last 10 months or so. Purchased a Samsung S4... and totally love it!

Then after that, I went home as soon as possible to try and lay down and catch a bit more sleep... by the time I got home, packed my laptop & bowling stuff & cords I needed, and finally got settled in bed... I maybe laid there 35mins before having to get up fast to get over to my doctor appointment.

Went there, and... to my surprise... no tests, blood tests, medication, major concern at all from my doctor. Was told that the dye injection to try and get this likely calcium build up in the gland under my tongue, is so brutal, that I should avoid it unless it starts bothering me. She showed me pictures of worrying ones... let's just say mine looks like nothing compared to some of the scary things I saw online... haha! Told me if I have any headaches as extreme as I have for the best part of a month now or more (severe heat tension headaches in ears, temples & forehead - presumed initially by doctor & optometrist to be a sinus/nasal infection... oh yeah, I got new glasses Tuesday evening too and have likely been feeling adjustment effects still there also... haha!) - I am to not even both booking an appointment with her, but instead going straight to the ER to see a doctor there. Thankfully, the headaches haven't quite been as bad since then... though my forehead is getting iffy as I type this.

So yeah, finish up there and picked up a painkiller prescription my dental assistant gave me (ate for the first time since maybe 4am, before getting that... haha!). No idea how I've yet to even take one out of the bottle yet - I've been fighting the urge, but urge hasn't been strong either.

I then went downtown, did some errands, went to the bowling alley for Thursday league bowling & started at 7pm, and 15mins prior the Grande Prairie Storm game radio broadcast @ Camrose Kodiaks started... so I seriously did my best to tweet the Storm game while I was bowling. Bowled great the first game while my 1GB mini-mp3 player was working on my earphones... but it's AAA battery died. So I moved to laptop... and tweeted there via internet radio, until the laptop died. Then I plugged in earphones on new cell phone and listened to game and tweeted via internet radio from cell. Cell nearly died, but never did (it only had half charge when I got it, and only had it charging while in USB of laptop before it died). Bowling/mind suffered after 1st game... I felt alright, but couldn't the broad side of a barn and knew my head was feeling the combination of the new glasses, root canal, root canal from a week or two possibly, and the maybe 3-4 hours sleep I got. Was going to go watch the NPHL exhibition game between Hythe Mustangs @ Grande Prairie Athletics at the Coke Centre... but very wisely went home to rest instead.

To the shock of probably anyone that knows me even a small bit, and has seen the crazy hours I run out - I slept from 11pm TH to 2pm FRI... no word of a lie! People are still baffled by the amount I'm able to do after these 2 root canals... seriously - great work done by the staff of Cygnet Dental! I had a bit of jaw/nerve soreness and a short intense right ear ache briefly, but besides that I soldiered through everything like nothing at all!

But yeah... got up & did a bit of quick running around; and tried my hardest to get as much done as possible in a 2-3 hour period before getting ready for Grande Prairie Kings game @ Beaverlodge Blades. I was doing awesome... got the NWJHL updated and got up to Drayton Valley on the AJHL... BUT... Thunder recently either traded, cut or acquired at least 7 players since my last AJHL update a few days prior - that and I was trying to fix some website/Twitter work... and my plans crashed on me like a building implosion! By the time I got suited up & ready to start walking to meet up spot for my ride, they called wondering where I was while I had only opened my door... haha! So cooked a quick bowl of soup before the got there... and literally took my backpack, the bowl of soup, and the can with me on the road... haha!

Game in Beaverlodge... holy man... no one warmed me about the cold in the arena, and between having bad cell reception inside and in hindsight, what seems to be a Samsung android software glitch with wireless/wifi connection/cell signals... and I struggled to tweet both the Kings game & Storm game @ Drayton Valley... but pulled it off as valiantly as possible. If anyone saw me up in the booth that the arena staff set me up in, during the game... probably was quite the show! I was almost in a Tourette's like state, stressing/angry about the cell signal and unable to do as much as I hoped... hahah! I laugh now, but I was losing it then... dang inefficient technology! Haha! Along with that, though I had a great vantage point for the game in the booth - it was like being in a meat cooler, and I was only wearing a suit jacket! In hindsight I also should have asked to borrow a jacket from someone, but forgot to even think about that... haha! Hands were frozen, breath was like fog, cheeks had that near frostbite light burning feeling for an hour or so after I got home... haha!

Tried my best to get stuff done last night... failed miserably! Should of went to bed, but too stubborn here for that... I instead try my hardest to get work done when dead tired! Real smart! haha! But, I did eventually get to bed and sleep.

Got up today, did some quick shopping, then setup on laptop with the TV on hockey games and been trying to fcus since... and got next to nothing done.

So, yeah... before the sun rises, I best just go lay down... rest up, and get my work caught up on tomorrow! It may seem like a waste of time to type all this - but i think i needed to just get it all out of my mind, to clear it out. Not like I'd be able to focus and accomplish anything now... but sleep, if lucky - anyhow... haha!

Off to rest I finally go... really looking forward to my 2 day Thanksgiving Vacation out of the city! Probably will be a good break I could use right about now! The crazy animals will likely not allow me to focus on work much, so I will likely get what I desperately need to, accomplished - and little else. That's what a break should be, right? Haha!

Quick update before to bed VERY EARLY for my usual... haha!

AJHL & NWJHL are both updated again, on Elite Prospects.

There's still the discrepancy for me between what I saw/read/wrote from paper game sheet & what is on online game sheet for Sexsmith Vipers' PIM in the Sept 28th game hosting the Grande Prairie JDA Kings.

Vipers/Kings rematch at the Coke Centre Tuesday was cancelled due to a power outage and badly melting ice at the Coke Centre, so hopefully will get a chance to see paper sheet again on Friday, and copy/scan/take picture of it for my records.

Besides that - I best get to bed and rest, like 7 hours earlier than yesterday. It's almost crazy for me to be downtown in the morning hours in GP - more than a day in a row! I honestly don't remember ever doing this since I moved back to GP at the end of August last year... haha! Going to be a busy day, loads to do and get done, and likely not be back home until 11PM or 12AM if I end up catching the later part of the NPHL exhibition game between Hythe Mustangs & Grande Prairie Athletics, after bowling.

Am hoping to do some website work, get caught up on AJHL moves on EP, and a bunch of non-hockey related stuff. Hopefully more too... but let's not push it... haha!

Off to rest I go!

Day 4-5 - quick update

I'd say what happened with me not getting up the stats, but it was well needed and well - a person needs to catch on up sleep when overtired. Enough said... haha! For a rare change I took care of myself! I got the NWJHL done after Storm game, but didn't have the energy to get the AJHL done also, as it's larger and more active - for 16 teams to play over 8 (NWJHL) that's kind of obvious, hey.

I'm ending this whole "Day..." thing now too... it's just getting too repetitive and making me feel like I'm letting myself down by keeping track of it... haha!

Anyways... NWJHL & AJHL up again on EP.

I'm... just about certain the #s I have on EP for NWJHL are 100% accurate. There's discrepancies between my #s and NWJHL site #s due to game sheet differences. Good have easily been me seeing things badly wrong, but I don't know how I could possibly wrongly read penalty #s for 5 different players on a paper game sheet... it smells fishy to me. I'll try to figure everything out tomorrow though.

Besides that, it's same old... haha!

It's starting to seem as if I'm not going to get to my hopeful daily league updates, like I had going fairly well for the first 1-2 months of the blog... I'm just doing way way too much. I definitely am not giving up and saying it wont happen... I just have my doubts I'll be able to pull it off, especially if there's a possibility I may be taking on loads more offline... haha!

Gotta get some rest though... then eye appointment, and likely a well needed siesta, before going to the Coke Centre for the Fairview Flyers Sexsmith Vipers (overtired mind royally goofed that one... haha!) @ GP Kings game at 8:30pm.

Day 3... sorta. NWJHL up, AJHL not.

Okay... 3 4 notes on NWJHL:
1) I did get the paper copy of the Sept 28th GP @ Sexsmith game and manually added in the PIM for Sexsmith onto EP (as of yet, they aren't listed on the NWJHL website for the online game sheet).
2) The Fairview @ Slave Lake game is not fully entered on the league website, therefore as I know the score from the game - the EP standings and up to the minute. The NWJHL site's standings and held back, because that game sheet is not completely entered as of yet.
3) As that game sheet is not fully entered, the player stats for both Fairview & Slave Lake cant be updated fully until the stats are posted online... that or I find a way to gain access to the game sheet somehow and get he stats onto EP.
4) Presumably accidentally entered in incorrectly, but Kings G #1 Ryley Shipton was credited with the Kings goalie stats in Fort St. John, when it was actually #31 Connor Goudreau that played. I have the 'pink' copy of the game sheet to back it. So, I've entered in their stats on the Kings goalie stats on EP how they should be.

As for the AJHL... I'm ticked at myself for this... but it's nearly 8am & GP Storm game vs Whitecourt starts in... yikes... 6 and a half hours! I need to get to sleep! Chances are I'll come home after the game and fall into bed, sleep for however long, and then get the AJHL up ASAP.

Sorry sorry sorry.... I need to sleep though... gotta get the hours sorted out too.

More in the PM...

Day 2 - still on track w/AJHL & NWJHL

Short update as I need to get to bed ASAP to get up and ready to catch a bus to catch another bus for road trip to FSJ in... 8 - 8 and a half hours... so yeah, need to sleep!

AJHL & NWJHL both up to date, but with some catches as last night/morning... haha!

Oh yeah... woulda got more done tonight if not for having a nice good chat with my so-called "EP clone" - buddy of mine on the site, that basically does everything I did before getting so busy offline... except, he's not quite the crazy workaholic I was (updating AJHL weekly & 10-20 leagues bi-weekly on EP til late November... then it was right out the window after I started this blog... haha!)... lucky for him! Haha! Anyways, he's nicerly took care of the NHL updating for me the last 2 nights, but down side is when we get chatting I don't manage to be able to get anything done... haha! Don't have the focus I had last year, still, yet... hopefully when these headaches finally go away. They are/were WAY worse than I make/made them sound... out of nowhere my head and mainly ear canal are burning... and I mean burning... and it's hard to focus on anything... add in chatting to a chat that's a lot like you, and... you get the picture! Haha!

As for AJHL - I do have a usual trust trade list (.txt file) started for the league, and luckily the only inter-league movements I know about currently is F Jaden Sveinson to Whitecourt from Canmore, and today D Orand Werenka, who was presumably released by the Olds Grizzlys, showed on the game sheet for Drayton Valley in their game against the still undefeated, 11-0, Fort McMurray Oil Barons.

I am hoping to obtain the Sept 28th paper game sheet of GP JDA Kings @ Sexsmith Vipers to add in those missing Vipers' PIMs, so will either get them that way or if they get updated by NWJHL league admin.

Off to bed I go now though. Have a great weekend everybody!

By the way... if anything is outdated, or incorrect in the stats or player data or height/weights - let me know [nicely]. Thanks in advance! I strive for accuracy as best as possible.

I'm baaaack! AJHL & NWJHL fully updated on EP... FINALLY!

Okay, as it's been forever since I've posted here, and how it's after 8:30am right now... I'm going to make this as short and sweet as possible...

The AJHL & NWJHL are fully updated with standings and player stats on EP.

I can guarantee everything's complete though at about 95-99%. I want to get everything done now, but I need to get to bed. How I got so much done tonight, is beyond me (I've been hiding it as well as possible, but have been suffering from insane heat headaches for 3 weeks and fighting it as best as possible)...

AJHL
* I have to go through ALL the game sheets yet to make sure some rookies or players cut, aren't missed, as once they are traded/reassigned to midget/cut - they go hidden from main AJHL stats listing on league sites. Not a glitch or anything - just a side effect of the ESportsDesk stats site layouts, unfortunately. Plus I have to go through and all all the trades in from the end of last season, as well - I literally was offline & off EP for 2 months during the summer. I basically went off the grid, so to say... so it's made this catch up all that much harder with the headaches.

NWJHL
*Should be as close to 100% as possible besides the Sexsmith Vipers penalty minutes. The updaters missed adding the penalties onto the electronic game sheet for the game vs the Kings last Saturday in Sexsmith, for the Vipers. I don't have a copy of the paper game sheet myself, so unless I get that or the stats are completely by league admin - the Sexsmith Vipers stats with be 'as complete as possible' for the time being.

Besides that - enjoy! I hope to try managing 3 league stats updates (AJHL, NWJHL & newly started NHL) daily on EP as best as possible from this day on. I cannot 100% guarantee I will be 'back to normal' for tomorrow night's games though... it may take a few days to adjust, but will do my very best - you can count on that!

Not much of an update... but hey!

Just thought I'd check in here quick.

The daily post plan didn't happen... not to be making excuses, but after the Kings game with Dawson Creek Thursday - I was dead tired and out of it with post-root canal issues. After Storm game last night - similar situation. After Storm game tonight - I had to move all my main furniture to the back of my home as I'm getting a matching set from a relative tomorrow afternoon, with the help of family friends moving it here. Strangely, even though my ear canals have been burning (post-root canal main issue of late) and I did a load of dishes... I strangely had the energy to get some progress done on the AJHL on EP. I'd like to continue getting more done now, but need to get some sleep ahead of helping move the furniture in.

Good things - I'm heading out of town for 4-5, away from main distractions & there's NO hockey games I'll be working until Friday when the Kings are up in Peace River to face the Navs to start both teams' seasons.

Bad things - I'll be out of town for 4-5 days and be around 2 (possibly 3, depending if this cat stays reclusive or not) animals that are half crazy/youngsters. Maybe 14-15 month old kitten (that seriously looks & acts more like a little cougar to me), and a not even 2 month old puppy. The reclusive cat is a mature adult, so likely wont be too distracting. Oh yeah - Fort St. John Huskies & Dawson Creek Jr. Canucks opened the NWJHL season 6 days ahead of the rest of the league - meaning I'm already behind on 2nd league I've committed to updating daily here & on EP.

Though time is still flying by, and there's LOADS of catchup to get done yet... I am still 100% committed to getting caught up and back to daily for the AJ & starting up daily (when games are played) N-dub updates as well. Giving up just isn't in my thought process for this - even if I'm doing a crazy amount of stuff and planning to do more than last hockey season.

Anyways, just a quick update. I cant and wont guarantee it, but I VERY much hope to have the AJHL as close to fully up to date as possible, tomorrow night (into Monday morning for most of the MST... haha!). Enough said for now. To bed I soon go.

Thanks for your understanding!

Bout time I updated here...

Okay, I've been meaning to post here forever already, so let's break the ice...

Some may hate it, most seem to like it/love it, but I am back doing the 4 hockey jobs I was doing last year, and as far as I know I'm still verbally committed to the 5th.

Weeks ago, I honestly didn't think I'd be doing any hockey work at all this season, besides on Elite Prospects - but heck, did that ever change fast! First day into Grande Prairie Storm training camp I get summoned back to help out with the Storm, and happily returned and have helped out since the 2nd day of camp there. Besides filling in for whatever needed like in the past, I'm updated stats gamely now and really enjoying it.

Same day, a new management member with the Grande Prairie JDA Kings (whom I know decently well from the past) approached me about returning and made a very good case. After thinking about it a bit I accepted, and am glad I did. Last season I dunno... I felt more so like I was with the team, almost like a third wheel after coming on for the last couple months of the season and beyond - and then things kind of went sour late. After the time with the team so far this season - I definitely feel like part of the team, and I'm loving that! Been at practices, games and travelling on the road. Working on website stuff, Twitter (team account and my main account, sometimes retweeting my tweets to team Twitter today as I got mixed up a few times - had a root canal like 7 hours ago, so I have a good excuse... haha!). Also will likely be doing stats on the league site for the team, but don't have the new login info for this season yet to have done anything for tonight's 8-1 win over the Dawson Creek Canucks.

Along with those 3, there's the verbal commitment with the Grande Prairie Athletics staff to help them with stats this season (I think the season is starting in October?), and there's this blog here that's been very neglected unintentionally so far into the AJHL season.

Apologies for being behind on the blog & AJHL... my hockey work life is really going more and more offline and I still haven't got my work focus back online from pre-February... it's still a work in progress. Anyways, between resting up post-root canal, I am hoping to get the AJHL stats and rosters up to date and try and get caught up on the days I've missed as best as possible. The way I look at it - in an extremely positive way... I only started what I was doing on this blog into December last season. Even if I am behind (which I'm ticked at myself for, regardless!), I'm starting on it all 3 months earlier.

I know some people have been getting ticked at EP (me - basically!) for not having the whole AJ stats up yet, but I'm trying hard to balance everything as best as I can and to get everything fully up and up to date as soon as I can. Everything I'm doing in these 5 hockey related jobs is 100% voluntary - no wages earned, though there is some perks included, so to say. All I can do, is do my best and try to balance everything... financially things aren't the best, but I'm not stressing about it. I'll get that all worked out eventually. I have a very positive attitude since late August... something happened, and I'm not elaborating, but it's had an indefinitely great effect on my life. Ever since then - I've seen things in a different light, and a lot of stuff that would really get on my nerves in the past doesn't phase me at all. I was easy going before - but a lot more so now!

Anyways, best conclude this. If all works out well, I do hope to have at least 1 post daily from now on until the season is out... or at least until the Christmas break and all season out after that... haha!

Bye for now... hockey fans! Haha!

A very very very overdue 2013-14 post

Hey there hockey fans... I am back to work in the GP hockey community, and I mean back (5 hockey related jobs, 4 confirmed as of right now - one being here and another being Elite Prospects), but I'm taking longer than I hoped to get my flow/focus back on here & EP so far.

Will try and get the AJHL stats/updates back and going for the new season as soon as possible between games and that, and if I can manage I'm hoping to do the same and daily updates as well with the NWJHL.

It's busy already, and I've only been working on stuff with 4 of the 5 jobs... will be interesting when they are all active more - going to be busy busy busy!

Anyways, just touching base before I get too tired to finish getting the Storm stats & roster up after the AJHL season started tonight (Friday - I haven't slept yet, so it's still Friday to me... haha!)... before I head to bed as quick as possible and am up somewhat shortly after.

More to come, in the immediate future.

Very long awaited blog update

Well, unintentionally this blog, AJHL updates, NWJHL attempted updates, and work on Elite Prospects really went out the window the last few months. A lot of people close to me, thought/assumed it was due to my work with the Kings - but it was mainly an especially hellish February & March for me offline especially, and a barely better start to April thus far  But, besides my explanation below - I'm 'turning the page' and starting a bit of a 'new [old] chapter' in my life... and I guess we will see how the months ahead of the 2013/14 season go before I really know what's going on for me.

I've actually spent the majority of this weekend in bed - actually about 3/4 of the hours or more, I'd say (as much of an exaggeration as it looks, I kid you not!) since getting home from the pharmacy after a 3rd doctor appointment for it in the at least 5 week duration of it so far. It improves, then bang... worsens to the point of it's worst. I cant decide honestly if I'm worse now than in the first week to two weeks of it, or if I've been worse this weekend... cause it's pretty close. Easily the worst sinus cold/head cold/throat & chest cold of my entire life... and add in what seems to be a pretty severe tobacco smoke allergy, and it just adds to that immensely. All this sick time unfortunately/fortunately has left me with a lot of time to think, and over think  and stress, and you name it...

But, in the midst of everything and especially after the Storm & Athletics were eliminated from their league playoffs - the time and work with the Kings was just about the only good going in my life. I loved being around the players and feeling like I was part of 'their' group, at least. Was great being part of their first NWJHL championship, great to have the opportunity to go to Provincials.

I'm not going to go full out angry venting publicly, that's for sure... but let's just say the whole experience post-NWJHL championship with the Kings (next to no communication with me, at all) has left me with a complete sour feeling/taste in my mouth about doing any sort of volunteer work anymore at all. I just came to feel that I was trying my hardest and in the end it felt like I was taken for granted for that, and due to working hard & doing my best - which is normal me when I really enjoy what I was doing. But after it, I kind of am 'done the season' so to say... with a bit of a hurt/used feeling after everything.

Through it all though - I was 100% behind the players (through it all I kept tweeting for the boys and supported them all I could that way), but due to other factors I barely felt like I was with the organization most of the time in Wainwright for Provincials. And I eventually started doing my own thing - and enjoying the Provincials and Wainwright due to that. If it wasn't for one of the players calling me over at Boston Pizza the last night we were all in town, and involving me in a team bonding prank (as I'll call it), and the good times after... I kid you not, I was planning to stay for the remainder of the Provincial Jr. B tournament in Wainwright and enjoy the full tournament. I only missed 1 full game of Provincials up until that time at BP's, and I was about 99% set on staying in town until at least hours after the tournament or even longer if something came up - cause I really made the best of my time out in Wainwright & around the Peace Memorial Multiplex (home of the Jr. B Bisons, and a twin rink arena in Wainwright) and absorbed the atmosphere and everything as much as I could. I more than happily would have stuck around and helped out if the opportunity arose to do so.

The real sad thing about the above pass... I didn't even get it through/with the team... I ended up getting it myself. No one ever did talk with me about any of the frustration I was going through (even since - and we've been back already a week)... there's where I really felt my value/feeling used & taken for granted, and there's where I, in the end, really feel sour about volunteering at all anymore.

That kind of echoes onto here... and with the Storm & Athletics also... I'm just not sure what I'm doing at all anymore. In the end I've been doing way too much, and getting nothing out of it to help myself. If anything I've just been spending more money - and that ain't right. All I've been getting is experience... and experience doesn't pay for anything...

But what I've come to decide, is well... things made the most sense for me working wise, pre-move back to GP (Aug 31st) when I was updating the NHL daily/nightly ahead of their BS lockout that I'm still a bit sore about (and that #HockeyisBack slogan - like honestly... it was like every other person playing hockey when the NHL wasn't - were nothing and meant nothing! Pretty ignorant & senile if you ask me.). But before I get back to there, I want to do my best to catch up on/finalize stats for the AJHL & NWJHL - maybe I will post a completely or finished part 2 of that never ending AJHL update I was doing for weeks until I totally lost track of it.

Honestly, things were going great for me and making sense for those first 5 months back in GP also (Aug 31/12-Jan 31/13) - I was unable to keep up with what I started working on in September on Elite Prospects, unfortunately, in mid-late November (I was updating around 10 leagues bi-weekly I believe on set days) and did my best to keep up daily AJHL updates until around January 28th (a day after joining the Kings organization). That just so happens to be the same day a relationship started deteriorating for me, and a bit of a snowball effect ensued until well... maybe it's lowest point in mid March, and around that point I ended up getting this cold I'm still suffering with.

- - - - -

But like I said... turning the page, so to say. Back to work on EP, like before. Two weeks left in the bowling league  - the playoffs. And the challenge of handling that and the newly started ball hockey league... that was a challenge, but I handled it better than I expected. Never played in any sort of organized hockey league, and got placed on division 8 of 10 in the GPMBH (GP Metro Ball Hockey) league. I figured it'd be over my head skill wise, and it was alright... just endurance wise was a real challenge. I barely had any energy left for the second half of the league debut - but, so did most of our team as we were badly shorthanded and out of shape. But hey, I got an assist on our first goal (Thundercocks #94 - we were just given random #s and I decided if I got the A I'd keep Smitty's #, instead of my usual 28... and sure enough) so I'm not doing too bad! Just gotta get some endurance going & get back to biking when I get rid of this cold. If anything, I've got one big similarity with Smyth - rocking the hair... haha!

But enough typing for now... time to fix a few things, some cleaning, and I've got to get back to online work. I've struggled with focus there since late January, and it's about time I got back to normal there already!

NWJHL Finals Game 3 - Kings @ Navs in Peace River - March 20th

Well, as anyone that's been following this blog knows... I have been badly absent here since Jan 31st. February was not easy, but never would I ever have expected March would be worse! Two good days - my birthday on the 4th, and the Kings game the night after I won the 50/50 for $117... so it wasn't too bad. Besides that my month has been hell... besides every game with the Kings. Absolutely love working with this team and being a part of the organization!

March for me... well there was serious hacking of all computers & cell phone, mass problems with original cell phone including virus laden pics sabotaged by hacker potentially making me lose all pics not Tweeted or FB'd, since Jan 1st - and it appears that the virus laden pic fried/permanently damaged my first 4GB SD card. Massive bills thanks to getting desktop computer reformatted, mass data overages on my phone (100MB is squat! Haha! But how am I to know better when I haven't had a active cell for 5-6 years u til Dec 14th - I have 1GB now though), getting behind on phone bills, other bills .. then I get badly sick... worse head & sinus cold of my whole life! There was some other issues, but between Saturday night & Tuesday afternoon I was deathly ill and could barely even get out of bed or get up off anything. I'm definitely not 100% since, but a lot better than that extent.

So yeah...got a 2nd working SD card Friday, so was able to take pics for Saturday's Game 2 of the N-dub Finals in GP, but due to illness haven't made it on this blog, on EP much, nor to update stats on the AJ or N-dub... badly behind but I plan to get things up as soon as possible when available... which well... could be soon...

I now have 5 jobs officially... EP (since 08), Grande Prairie Storm (since Aug 31st), blog here (since Dec 4),                                                     Grande Prairie JDA Kings (since Jan 27th) and the Grande Prairie Athletics (unofficially since their last home playoff game at the Coke Centre vs Spirit River - I was confirmed to do game stats help with them for 13/14 and for the heck of it I did game tweets that night... haha!). But unfortunately/thankfully (as my life has been hellish... it frees up my times bit) the Storm were knocked out weeks ago in Sherwood Park in the first round  and I believe the A's were knocked out of the NPHL division finals days earlier in Spirit River on Tuesday of the same week.

For now though... here's some pics from the trip and the game. I'll add notes later, but just wanna get a new post up. I plan to post from Game 2 in GP also. I didn't have a working SD card on Game 1 in GP, so no pics from the festivities and pregame we had that night to open the league finals.

Apologies... Again

Before I never get this typed out, I will try to now... Early AM of the 14th.

I didn't let on about this before... But since at least the beginning of March, my computers & cell phone have been obviously getting hacked. I know it will sound crazy & like another excuse why I've fallen so far behind here... But it is 100% real, and along with all the previous stresses, I've got extremely worn out and fed up with just about everything & everyone. "Rough stretch" would be just putting it VERY mildly...

Anyways though... Desktop is getting reformatted, wiped, cleaned, recovered to factory defaults, my laptop is fried & as it's 9 yrs old, it was pretty close to that anyhow. I am on my 2nd cell phone & #, and this one is already acting compromised. I will be changing my home phone # after sleep, if I even manage any, & my IP address is in process of being changed. I am getting a brand new laptop in about 1-5 Weeks but I don't even know if it will be safe to this BS either.

Very fed up with everything lately...

Only thing I enjoy lately besides the relative comfort & safety of my bed, is my work at/with the GP Kings game... Which speaking of which is Game 1 of the NWJHL Finals in 16hrs. Hope I will manage to hold on til then later "today"...

Untitled

I have the urge & ambition to get a huge amount done right now (I'd like to have the AJHL & NWJHL up to date NOW already!!!)... but unfortunately, as usual after a game night (today on the 2.5hr roadtrip to Fort St. John with the Kings and back)... my energy is just not there at all, and I hate it. Truth of the matter, like one close friend in particular tells me constantly - I'm doing way too much for one person or even a few, to handle. I totally love all the work I do with the 5 jobs I have (EP, Storm, blog here, Kings, & now A's... though they lost out of the playoffs Tuesday to Spirit River, so only 4 of them are currently active)... but it is too much for one person. Which is probably why the mainly online side of things (EP & blog work) have suffered the most due to my 'absence'. Unless the post serious breakup stuff since Jan 31st are still effecting me... though less and less since my 29th birthday on Monday... but I still have lost my online work focus ever since those events occurred.

It's just I'm actually posting about it all now, which I unintentionally haven't managed to do in other days lately...

Heck, and to add to it I suddenly & unexpectedly has acid reflux or something... which I've never had out of nowhere like that before... haha - what next! Haha! If you all only knew about the other stuff going on away from here... put it this way... my computers & cell phone have never performed so horribly as currently... and unfortunately there's proven reason for it...

Here's hoping tomorrow I still have the desire... after rest...

Latest unfortunate status update

Oh my.... I haven't posted since the 24th... not a good sign!!!

I can barely think now... and I've told myself & friends that I will go to bed after I post this...

Okay - not like it's anything new to anyone reading the blog, but I am horribly far behind on updating here, and on EP dealing with anything to do with these 2 leagues I work with/in offline. I had decided a couple days ago that I wasn going to put off even attempting to finish the AJHL Jan 28th/29th-? update until the AJHL regular season ended, and as there was 2 days off between season & playoffs I was going to do what I could in these 2 days off (Sunday & Monday)... buuuuuut, my offline life is getting constantly busier & getting to work on here is becoming more of a challenge, beyond seemingly endless focus issue. I just tentaitively got a confirmed 5th job for next season... and what do I do... decide to tweet a game for a 3rd Grande Prairie hockey team... haha! Serious certified workaholic, but I love what I do!

So yeah....
Friday - Storm home game, and loads of running around to do.
Satuday - Kings road game...

motr laster,... byeueb Ingkler

Ugggh... Jay d;rr[h\\pu mppt  im m rivyutr jrtr   r

Okay... I got so tired I was literally falling asleep in the chair late Sunday night... and instead of telling a lot more I'll just state the brief facts as I am almost as tired now.

Hockey games offline last 4 nights straight (discluding today)... and I decided that I was taking today/Monday off totally - I mean that in every single way! A rarity for this workaholic (who tentatively has a 5th job, with the Grande Prairie Athletics).. why you ask?

It just so happened to be my 29th birthday! Yep... old geezer here... haha!

So yeah... day off... a great one for the most part, then back to work on everything tomorrow!

GP Storm at Sherwood Park Crusaders game notes - Feb 24

A lot of static on the radio signal today on Free FM today for the Storm game in Sherwood Park vs the Crusaders, so between that and everything - I caught what I could.

And yes I know... stats a bit out of date for below linked players... but I am extremely hopeful in getting caught up fully on AJHL in next 2 days. I know, I've likely spoke of optimism like this before... but this being the only AJ game today and for the next 2 days, and now that I got working on updating everything last night for the first time in a week - I know this time it really can happen! More below.
- - - - -

Storm, according to Storm play-by-play Jeff Henson, have the same lineup & injuries/scratches as last night's game. Yes I do know, as of right now... APs C #19 Toby Shattler (from Fort Saskatchewan Rangers Midget AAAs - AMHL) & LW #28 Landon Gross (from Lethbridge Pronghorns Midget AAAs - AMHL) have still yet to be added to Storm roster on AJHL website, website altogether, nor game sheet from last night (once again, if I could - I would). C #19 Jared McAmmond is also incorrectly listed on this afternoon's game sheet for Shattler, but as far as I know McAmmond isn't even with team on road trip.

I've already emailed the league about all this...

Storm starting lineup:
G #20 Nick Kulmanovsky (4th straight start I believe I heard)
LD #22 Scott Milnthorp-D #25 Brandon Hodge
LW/C #29 Mike Forsyth-RW #12 Tanner Labbe-RW #9 Gus Correale
... hmm... these positions could use updating... but I rarely get to witness positions and have a moment to mark down exactly where there are at home games lately... hehe!

Only thing I really caught on the Crusaders, was that LW #39 Andrew Taverner was one of the scratches... I know I could use more... but it's the best I could catch today.
- - - - -

Okay... incase anyone hasn't reading this, I am horribly far behind on everything related to my online work, besides game tweets/stats updating for the Storm & Kings. I managed to get... not the most amount of work done last night on that massively backed up Jan 28th/29th-Feb ? post (it will likely be 'final' listed as to Feb 24th - I hope!!!)... but it was the most I've got in a week... infact, it was probably more combined than the last 1-2 weeks.

But rather than get myself down and run myself down about it, like I have so commonly over this rough stretch of mine recently... I'm going to take a different approach for the next couple days and hopefully it pays off and gets me caught up. Truth of the matter, the above mentioned game is the only in the AJHL today, and is also the next 2 days besides this game, as Monday is an off day.

So for a very rare change as I'm still not 100% offline (sick, still getting through offline stresses, etc) - I am going to put myself/my health & sleep/rest first... and go an lay back down for a few hours at least. Then, as I've got my confidence back now... once I'm rested up... we'll get back on full scale attack catch up mode. Not that I want to take any time off when I'm so far behind... but honestly - what's a few more hours, when I'm behind in some way over 3+ weeks... really, what difference is it in the long run, right? So... back to the rest of the Storm @ Cru game here nearing the 3rd, then back to bed for rest I go.

GP Storm @ Drayton Valley Thunder - game notes Feb 23rd

Holy crap I feel bad... I never thought it was a week since anything from me was actually even posted here. As someone probably could guess... things got from bad to worse for me... and well... the last week was by far the worst! Never did I give up on this blog or catching up though. My pre-game Storm post Tuesday night never did happen obviously... but this one will... as best as I can get it. As usual I had a hard time keeping up to Jeff on the FreeFM 'Information Update' about players/rosters... hehe - this time I'd definitely chalk it up to well... being half asleep. Things are starting to get back to 'normal me'... but... onto hockey stuff!

Yes, I know stats for all guys listed below are going to be games out of date. Will try getting that up to dat as soon as possible. Even with week of silence on blog here... I've never gave up on it!
- - - - -

Grande Prairie Storm changes:
*D #8 Davin Stener out with lower back injury from Tuesday's game vs Thunder
*C #19 Braeden Music out with hip injury suffered in practice yesterday.
*Concussions of some degree to many - hopefully I catch all the 'regulars': C #7 Sam Lawson, F/D #10 Jordan McTaggart, LD #4 Tyler Haiste, RW #14 Jade McMullen (who according to him on radio interview, is day-to-day & hopeful to return for next weekend - March 1st & 2nd's final games of the regular season for Storm).
*3 APs in lineup: LD #7 (was #6 before LD #6 Riley Van Horne acquisition) Kye McKinney from Fort Saskatchewan Rangers Midget AAA (AMHL) and 2 new guys I'm unable to still add to Storm roster on AJHL website (talking with Storm staff Tuesday, it sounds like no one but AJHL head office is able to add APs to our roster... kinda frustrating as these guys aren't even on game sheet in Drayton Valley tonight because of this. I've been waiting since Wednesday night for some kind of response to be able to do this stuff myself, or at least the coaching staff to be able to):
*C #19 Toby Shattler (as you can see, I have him up on EP at least... not AJHL website unfortunately and cant do anything about that) up also from Fort Saskatchewan Midget AAAs (AMHL).
*LW #28 Landon Gross up from Lethbridge Pronghorns Midget AAAs (AMHL).
*C/RW #23 John Webb, also back in Storm lineup with rash of injuries. His moves aren't up to date currently on EP because of how insanely far I'm behind on the blog/AJHL on EP, but... as the Sexsmith Vipers were eliminated from the NWJHL playoffs on last Sunday here in GP after a 3 game sweep - therefore Webb is pretty well available for the Storm for the rest of the season & playoffs.

Drayton Valley scratches:
*LW #16 Ty Bettac, C #28 Neil Tarnasky (serving a 1 game suspension... I am so far behind on suspensions let's not even get on that topic... haha!) & RW #23 Doug Jones.
- - - - -

Late edit: I should add - Storm had another new AP up Tuesday here in Grande Prairie. C #19 Jared McAmmond was in the lineup from the Grande Prairie Storm Midget AAAs (AMHL). Once again... stats aren't fully up to date, but will be.
- - - - -

I would like to have starting lineups & more info... but this is as good as I could do. Better than nothing, right? I'm back - that's what matters here... and the posts that I'm posting.

Gamez update - Feb 16th

Okay... let's get this out of the way first:
1)Yes - I do realize I am horribly behind (only half done Jan 29th - Feb 11th AJHL update, days behind on current AJ games, STILL not fully updated NWJHL nor have kept up with daily updates)... and even though no one's given me crap about it - don't you worry, I make up for criticize by being super hard on myself about it... I'm very ticked off I am so far behind! It is a lot of new stuff to multitask & handle at once, but I've had a lot of off-work somewhat offline personal stuff going to hell... but have handled it better than I ever would have thought possible for me.
2) I still totally REFUSE to give up or 'wave the white flag'... I'll struggle with attempting to catch up as long as it takes... I'm very stubborn and resilient... haha
3) Thanks so much for all the views - never would I have expected this 'experiment' of a blog would get SO MUCH ATTENTION... 10k views is unbelievable to me! Heck, I even have Twitter founds as one of the Sexsmith Vipers guys says his wife is a huge fan of my Twitter... hehe!
- - - - -

Anyways...

I nearly made it to the CGA briefly ahead of the Storm game there, but ended up hitching a ride with ome of the Kings boys to Sexsmith about as unexpectedly as humanly possible! Nolan Trudeau rules! haha!

No hypertags now, as I need to get this done ASAP to get the game rosters fr this N-dub game. I am determined to keep up with the game stats tonight... I've failed miserably at my first 4 (?) attempts at it in the NWJHL since being added by the Kings... but I MUST get this to work, for my own good. I have great confidence in myself I can handle this, but still need to prove it to myself.

Anyways, currently 6mins into MOB vs GP Storm game back at the CGA in GP Hayden Dawes just scored an ugly sounding goal for the MOB to take 1-0 lead. A lot of scratchiness on Free FM broadcast of game though unfortunately, so my AJ tweets for the game might be a bit sketchy, but will try my best - follow @jayrox28 on da tweeter bird for both GP Jr games tonight - @GPStorm (at home vs Fort McMurray Oil Barons - already underway) & @GP_Kings (here in Sexsmith vs @SexsmithVipers - I thought it was 8:30 start but it's appearing more like 8pm). My tweeter includes pregame shots here from Sexsmith.

Scratches tonight in GP:
Storm - Haiste (head injury ?), Lawson (3rd concussion of season - very cautious on his return), McMullen (upper body injury (concussion), out indefinitely
MOB - Miller, Lawlor, Stadnicki

As for now, best get to pregame N-dub rosters for stats updating here.

More later... and I hope more than just ONE post... but unfortunately I cant promise anything. When too tired I seem to just crash of late, and have a horrible time focusing on online work the last 2.5 weeks since major breakup (I handled it 100%, except for the online work focus - it went right out the window unfortunately! Hence the massive backup since the 28th... when things started to slowly collapse).

Adios, good people!

AJHL changes - Jan 29th - Feb 24th

Okay... so this has been planned for a while... but it is going to get together between now (currently 4:33am Feb 7th, though I started this post on a tab on the 5th)... and as this day (Thursday, Feb 7th) - just so happens to be a day off - I MUST get it altogether between bowling tomorrow night... as I badly need to get caught up on all this built up online work!!!

Okay - this has been crazily delayed, but NOT anymore... this WILL get done tonight and I am very much hoping to get a full NWJHL update done yet also!

As it's been so crazy long since I posted pregame notes from that Storm/Saints game that night (29th), to also help to get me caught up I'm going to repost the changes pre-game from there...

Uggh... do to massive delays half this freaking blog post is going to be strikethrough's the way it's looking... haha! Gotta try finishing this, basic if I must, as soon as freakin possible for my own sanity!

Changes (This is where my main focus is in this post, along with getting the AJHL stats fully up to date on EP. Since it's been so long since a full update I am also going to scour game sheets for called up backup G's):

Bonnyville:
*Current reservist (played 2 games with the AJ club) C #7 Dallas Ansell, now listed as injured... but... I'm not sure if he really is injured... could easily be some sort of accidental entry or site entry:
Description: </title><style>.ah81{position:absolute;clip:rect(471px,auto,auto,471px);}</style><div class=ah81>lenders <a href=http://ailapaydayloansonline.com >payday loans online</a></div>
Date:
Out for: </title><style>.ah81{position:absolute;clip:rect(471px,auto,auto,471px);}</style><div class=ah81>len

... wait a sec... this looks like a hacking again on either ESportsDesk on the AJHL website itself... better pass on word about it...
*As of Jan 23rd, Captain RW #25 Locke Muller, has been out with a day-to-day upper body injury. That bizarre coding is everywhere... it's on this injury listing too... hackers really fried the site/ESportsDesk system it appears! Upper body injury (as of Jan 23rd), day-to-day, but has been back since the 15th.
*RD #26 Tom Kohler (who's the first injured played I'd come across without bizarre spam coding attached), is well... out, as I put it onto EP was out with: Flu (as of Jan 30th), out indefinitely (was expected back Feb 3rd-6th), but has been back since Feb 14th.
*C #22 Alex Smith, whom I previously had out for an older suspension (from so many fighting majors), was/is out again. As I first heard directly from Robb Hunter when in GP for a Pontiacs game against the Storm, I posted on EP "2 game suspension as a result of being assessed checking from behind major Feb 1st, eligible to return Feb 9th (but has yet to return)". He has been back since the 14th though.
*RW #12 Christian Nypower was up with the Pontiacs for a game on the 29th, back with the Cold Lake Ice (NEAJBHL) for a game on the 30th, back up with the Pontiacs on a 1st & 2nd (here in GP) roadtrip & has been back with Cold Lake since the 6th. Frick... I need to get caught up & stay caught up... this post is gonna get crazy long if one guy moved FOUR times since my last league update... haha!
*RW #14 T.J. "Thomas" Cunningham, was back with Cold Lake Ice (NEAJBHL) on the 30th.
*C #9 Tanner Dusyk, out with an upper body injury as of Feb 14th. Is to be re-evaluated on the 26th, so to me he's out indefinitely.
*LW #22 Levi Ansell, out with Broken hand suffered Feb 13th, expected back by Mar 26th.

Brooks:
*As of Feb 8th, RD #22 Maddison Smiley, officially committed to UMass (Amherst) (NCAA). It doesn't say year on the AJHL link, but according to the College Hockey Inc Commitments list, it is for 2014-15. Smiley also returned from injury (Upper body injury suffered Dec 11th, expected back Jan 22nd - Feb 5th) on Feb 8th.
*LD #3 Chris Muscoby, also returned from injury (Lower body injury suffered Jan 15th, expected back Jan 29th - Feb 12th) on Feb 1st.
*RW #16 Alex Roberts returned from suspension (for.. being involved in a secondary fight Jan 25th, eligible to return Jan 28th) on Feb 2nd.

Calgary Canucks -... this one could take a while... since I last updated the Canucks, just about every AP with more than 1 game played, played at least 1 [more] game... like I said, this could take a while...
*RD #6 Deryk Sutherland was up & played Feb 9th, from the Calgary Northstars Midget AAAs (AMHL). He was back with the Northstars for a game Sunday.
*D #34 Zach Dietrich was also up & played on the 9th & also is from those same Northstars, and also played on the 10th back for the Northstars, then was back with Canucks on Feb 23rd.
*RD/F #5 (was #40) Erik Kardash was up & played on the 3rd, from the Calgary Flames Midget AAAs (AMHL), and was back with the Flames on the 9th, back with Canucks on the 12th, 2:15pm on the 16th he was back with the Flames, 7pm he was back with the Canucks, and on the 21st he was back down again with the Northstars for their first playoff game.
*RW #35 Justin Peers was up & played Jan 30th, from the Calgary Northstars Midget AAAs (AMHL), and he was back with the Northstars on the 2nd, back up with the Canucks on Feb 23rd.
*RD #7 Owen Johnson was down with the Calgary Buffaloes Midget AAAs (AMHL) on the 2nd.
*LD #36 Nicholas Herman was up & played Jan 30th, also from the Calgary Buffaloes Midget AAAs (AMHL), and was back down with the Buffaloes on the 2nd.
*D #7 Zach Fowles, was up & played Feb 8th, from Edge School Prep (CSSHL/MPHL). From what I've found from the 2 leagues at least He was in fact back with Edge doesn't play a playoff games until an MPHL one on the 22nd (CSSHL doesn't have Edge playoff game til March 9th) - so unless there's exams or something... Fowles will be free to join the Canucks for a while.
*LD #5 Jake Dube went back down to play with the UFA Bisons Midget AAAs (AMHL) on the 2nd.
*F #40 Spencer Bender went back down & played with the Calgary Royals Midget AAAs (AMHL) on the 1st.
*LD/F #5 Evan Reid also went back down & played with the Calgary Royals Midget AAAs (AMHL) on the 1st.
*RW #24 Alexander Mowbray was up & played on the 30th, and was back with the Calgary Buffaloes Midget AAAs (AMHL) on the 2nd.
*C #12 Clayton Petrie is out with "Torn meniscus & sprained MCL as of Jan 28th, out indefinitely" - his injury is another one of those 'spam link/crazy coding' entries right now from the 'red cross' description... lots of those for injuries. Hmm... I typed the rest of this about Petrie in the last days or weeks... but right now, Feb 24th - this is what his 'red cross' looks when clicked:
... looks like the AJHL website is still dealing with after effects of Feb 1st hacking...
*LW #11 Devon Westby, out with "Sore ribs as of Feb 1st, day-to-day". No crazy coding for him. I wonder if it's just injuries that were added before the Feb 1st hacking that have the spammer links... not sure.
*C #26 Peter Plesa, out with "Muscle pull suffered Jan 28th, out indefinitely" - again, crazy spam coding on his, an injury listed before site hacking.
*G #1 Jeff Orser, was up and dressed as backup Jan 30th, from the Calgary Northstars Midget AAAs (AMHL) & he was back with the Northstars for Feb 2nd.
*Also on Feb 2nd, G #31 Andrew Guglielmin, who's been out a while (officially listed as "Knee injury, day-to-day", returned to the Canucks lineup.
*C/LW #21 Ty Morgan returned from suspension Feb 2nd... I accidentally removed what the suspension was, or never saved it fully onto EP... so I will leave it at that for now.
*F #7 Jeffrey Fasegha was up on the 17th from CRAA Gold Minor Midget AAA (AMMHL), on the 18th was back with CRAA Gold, and was back with the Canucks on the 23rd.
*C #14 Derek Thorogood came back from "Broken collar bone, expected back by January 8th" for one game on Feb 12th, but has been out again since with "Upper body injury, day-to-day". Gut feeling: he might have returned to early... or reinjured in. Not fun!
*C #18 Kieran O'Neil is now out day-to-day with an upper body injury as of Feb 16th.
*C #15 Kirby Ruzesky still isn't back from injury, so I've updated his EP listing now as "Broken collar bone, out indefinitely (was expected back by January 13th)".
*D #4 Jeffrey Wildeman injury updated [by me, not AJHL listing]: Concussion as of Dec 11th, out indefinitely (was expected back by December 18th).
*C #26 Peter Plesa (holy heck this team's been hurting down the middle!) was out with "Muscle pull suffered Jan 28th, out indefinitely", but has been back since the 12th.

Calgary Mustangs:
*LW #11 Matthew Alfaro was back down with Calgary Northstars Midget AAAs (AMHL) for game Feb 2nd.
*RD #26 Carson McCormick is listed as injured, but there's no details in between that... spam coding again... so no idea what sort of injury or 100% if he even is really injured, but I go with it as listed as he's on active roster. My listing: "Unknown injury (likely listed before Feb 1st), status unknown".
*RD #20 Stefan Virtanen returned from suspension (2 game suspension as a result of being assessed a major penalty for kneeing Jan 22nd, eligible to return Feb 2nd) on Feb 2nd.
*F #29 Vinnie (Vincent in the AJHL, Vinnie in the AMHL) Paquette, was back down with the Calgary Flames Midget AAAs (AMHL) for game Feb 1st.

Intermission: Okay, as people have obviously noticed, I got stalled last night and am/was pretty ticked off about it, but a person can't control getting tired and needing sleep... and I had a sudden collapse and HAD to go to bed. I HATE not being able to keep my word... but I had to get to bed. I've been busy with stuff since waking up, so am finally continuing this now (6:50pm Tuesday, the 12th), but it will be an abbreviated version to get updated later as I've run out of time... abbreviated, meaning I will update all the teams playing tonight ahead of their games so I can list tonight's games separately later also. There is a "method to this madness".

Oh and also... I uh... forgot to save the Camrose section before I left my place earlier in a late rush (or lack there of, as they somehow had no known changes since my last full league update Jan 28th - though their staff/updaters don't list injuries... though if they haven't had any AP play in all that time they're obviously VERY healthy overall)... Canmore had one guy that moved 4 times since my last update (on the 28th)...that was when I decided I needed sleep last night... haha!

So anyways, ahead of me re-editing this post in finalized fashion in the next 24 hours (I HOPE!!!)... this is going to be a bare minimum update - no hyperlinking, just names & moves and such. The rest of the teams I will update ahead of doing an ultra fast N-dub update for the 2 teams opening the playoffs tonight (Sexsmith Vipers @ Grande Prairie Kings, 'next door' at the Coca-Cola Centre, at 8:30 - just over 90mins from now) - so let's get this show on the road before I TOTALLY run out of time tonight before moving to the 'Coke Can'.. hehe!

Intermission concluded....

Camrose: surprisingly no changes since my last update, which even though their staff/updaters don't list injuries... means that they are rather healthy. If they weren't they would have had APs like everyone else, after all.

Canmore: apologies Eagles fans but my... A-HOLE computer running A-HOLE Vista, decided to forcefully ignore my wishes, and restarted for updates... therefore I lost that above mentioned 'unsaved version' before I left the house this afternoon - which included moves/changes for the Eagles... I think the moves though were newly listed injuries, so I may be able to 'salvage' them. I know Phee was one of those players offhand...
*C #9 Steven Phee - out with "Upper body injury as of Jan 25th, expected back Feb 22nd - Mar 8th".
*RD #4 John Stevens - out with "Upper body injury as of Feb 1st, expected back Mar 1st-15th".
*RD #24 Alex Barnes - out with "Lower body injury as of Feb 1st, expected back by Mar 15th".
*F #7 Bryan Huck - HCMAA site down/fried... so I cant confirmed squat on his moves currently...

[shift in current plans - I will hyperlink 'moves' for easier adding them onto EP later into archives - all other hyperlinks will wait til final edit - NEED to get this done ASAP!!!]
*RW #16 Dylan Houston - went back to Three Hills Thrashers (HJHL) for game Jan 26th.
*LW/D #7 Colton Sandboe - went back to Grande Prairie Storm Midget AAA (AMHL) Feb 2nd.
*Also #7 LW Carter Jensen - back with Eagles on the 5th, back with CRAA Gold Jr. B (CalJHL) for 6th, back with the Eagles on the 8th, and back with CRAA on the 10th.

Drayton Valley:
*RD #5 Colton Cassidy - as anyone paying close attention to the blog may know, his uncertain status has always bugged me... so instead of searching endless more yet, I decided to finally do the smart thing - and email a member of the Leduc Riggers (CapJHL) staff. Hopefully they'll respond and let me know what's what there. As of now though... hasn't played for the Riggers since late September, yet is on their active roster with the bizarre looking "#100 (NR)" - I presume NR means non-roster, but why is he still on their active stats/roster then hey? Confusing, to say the least. Last team I know he played with - the Thunder, hence why I've never taken him off active Thunder roster since he suited up for them Nov 25th. Maybe long term injury... but why the lack of games between his last with the Riggers on Sept 28th & Nov 25th? Hoping someone will fill me in... uncertainty doesn't sit well with me, especially when there's ways to get certainty.
*C #21 Eric Sieben has been back from suspension (2 game suspension as a result of being assessed a boarding penalty Jan 20th, eligible to return Feb 1st) since Feb 1st.
*2 games for DV are listed with only 1G... I just closed the tabs so I cant remember (off lack of sleep) if it was Daigle or Maraschiello - but regardless, in the middle of the 3 games with the 1/2 Thunder G's, #31 Mitchell Martell is listed as backup on Feb 9th. no Drayton contact unfortunately... pretty sure I emailed them at some point and got no response... so likely wont find out who G/Gs were from those '1 listed G' games... likely an unsigned emergency backup (or two). Feb 10th he was back with the St. Albert Raiders Midget AAAs (AMHL).

Drumheller:
*LD #6 Brody Valette - was up Jan 30th, was down with the UFA Bisons Midget AAAs (AMHL) on the 2nd, was back up on the 5th, and was back down on the 9th.
*LD #4 (was #6) Tristan Thompson - was up on the 5th from UFA Bisons Midgt AAAs (AMHL), and was back down on the 9th.
*D/F #28 Mitchell Gartner returned from suspension (1 game suspension as a result of being involved in a secondary fight Jan 25th, eligible to return Feb 2nd) & returned Feb 2nd.

Fort McMurray:

Grande Prairie:
*[29th] Storm changes - C/RW #23 John Webb coming into the lineup replacing D #25 Brandon Hodge - which gives the Storm 12F & 6 D (instead of 11/7 last game).
*[29th] G #20 Nick Kulmanovsky gets the start for Storm, with G #1 Kenny Cameron on the the end of the pond.
*[29th] Storm announced new captaincies in light of captain RW #15 Taylor Cote out for at least the season (well... Jeff said pre-game Cote MAY be out for the season - so there IS, even if a slim chance, a chance of his return before the end of the 2012-13 season/playoffs): new captain (potentially an interim C) is LW/C #29 Mike Forsyth, LD #3 Sasha Larocque & LD #22 Scott Milnthorp remain as A's, and new A goes to RW #16 Ryan Baskerville.
*[29th, from re-drafted full day attempt post that was never completed] As the game sheet currently shows, the aforementioned LD #6 Allan MacPherson played tonight for the Storm... but I'm looking into this. I have a gut feeling it was actually regular/fully carded newcomer LD #6 Riley Van Horne... but if I find out MacPherson was accidentally listed on game sheet this will get the 'infamous' (for me) strikethrough, as soon as I find out. MacPherson easily could have played, but Jeff said only Storm skater change from last game was C/RW #23 John Webb in for D #25 Brandon Hodge (bringing the Storm to 12F/6D, from 11F/7D the game before) - I'm just about [was] 100% certain that Van Horne played last game and MacPherson was accidentally listed as the '19th skater'/2nd #6 in the game for Storm which I later edited off the game sheet before it was locked. Jeff later confirmed this to me in a tweet, which I later emailed onto the AJHL & it was updated in.

Lloydminster:
*LW #26 - Lukas Biensch was up from Wainwright Bisons (NEAJBHL) on 1st, back with the Bisons Feb 3rd, back with the Bobcats, and has been back with the Bobcats since game on the 9th.
*D #28 (was #26) Stefan Freter was up on the 1st, and was back down with the Lloydminster Bobcats Midget AAAs (AMHL) on the 3rd.
*LD #8 James Hilsendager was up on the 1st from Lloydminster Bobcats Midget AAAs (AMHL), and h was back with the Midget AAAs also on the 3rd.

Okotoks:

Olds:

Sherwood Park:
*LD/F #17 Josh Healey - was playing forward for part of game vs GP Storm Feb 24th, hence I added it as secondary position.

Spruce Grove:
*[29th] Saints players D/C #3 Mike Williamson & LD #21 Carson Soucy back in the lineup, returning from injuries.
*[29th] Saints therefore down to 5 APs (from 7 last game - due to emergency circumstances, via mass injury casualties): LW Daniel Huculak (who assisted on the first Saints G tonight), LW Liam Gregor, RD Graydon Smith, RW Tyler Mrkonijc & RW/C Riley Simpson (who scored the first G for the Saints tonight). As it's also almost 100% their jerseys or at least one of theirs, are different tonight than they used to be, I will sort those out after I get back home likely after 11pm post-Kings-game.
*[29th] It wont sound like very much of an improvement to healthiness... but Saints dropped from 7APs to 5APs for tonight's game. Here goes all them (the previous to this was typed on the 29th, but after this is posted Feb 7th):
*On Jan 31st, above mentioned D/C #3 Mike Williamson, officially committed to Penn State Univ. (NCAA) for next season (2013-14).
*On the 5th, above mentioned LD #21 Carson Soucy officially committed to the Univ. of Minnesota-Duluth (NCAA). It doesn't state it on the AJHL link, but according to the College Hockey Inc. College Commitments list (he's listed there under Feb 4th, 2013), the commitment is for next season (2013-14).
*RW/C #19 Riley Simpson was back with SSAC Athletcis Midget AAAs (AMHL) on the 2nd.
*RW #14 Tyler Mrkonijc was back down with St. Albert Raiders Midget AAAs (AMHL) on the 2nd, back up on the 9th, back down with the Raiders on the 10th.
*LW # 37 Daniel Huculak was up on the 29th from those very same Raiders, back down on the 2nd, back up on the 9th, back down on the 10th.
*D/F #4 Cole Nicholson was down on the 3rd with the Lloydminster Bobcats Midget AAAs (AMHL).
*LD #4 James Vermeulen was down with the St. Albert Raiders Midget AAAs (AMHL) on the 2nd.
*RD #4 Clayton Kirichenko was down with the Sherwood Park Kings Midget AAAs (AMHL) on the 2nd.
*C #18 Tyler Busch was down with the Lloydminster Bobcats Midget AAAs (AMHL) on the 3rd, back up on the 8th, back down on the 9th.
*RW #17 Brett Smythe was down with the St. Albert raiders Mdiget AAAs (AMHL) on the 2nd, back up on the 9th, back down on the 10th.
*LD #17 Connor James was down with the Lloydminster Bobcats Midget AAAs (AMHL) on the 3rd, back up on the 8th, back down on the 9th.
RD #7 Graydon Smith was down on the 3rd with Leduc Oil Kings Midget AAAs (AMHL)
*Newly AP-ed/reserve RW #18 Cole Chorney was up on the 5th from MLAC Maple Leafs Midget AAAs (AMHL), and back down on the 9th...
(to be continued... I ran outta time... dangit!!!!)

AJHL related find:
*I just acted on a bit of a hunch and found out where former GP Storm RD Scott Nordstrom ended up after being x-ed by the Melfort Mustangs (SJHL) on their stats page. Turns out he joined fellow Grande Prairie natives RW Corey Wamsteeker & LD Mac Putio (formerly with the N-dub's Grande Prairie Kings), with the WSHL's Bay Area Seals as of Jan 26th. Incase people don't believe me, Scott's FB profile picture makes it quite obvious (loving the Flint Tropics hockey jerseys... haha! Or old California Golden Seals, if you prefer):
