Oh yes, score for me - only 4 games to update this Friday instead of the 6 played last Friday... hehe! Am trying to get more with it and update the games and that at an a lot more reasonable time, so hopefully this is the start to that. Scores from tonight:
- Brooks beat Drayton Valley 4-2 in Brooks. Brooks came out to a 2-0 lead early in the 2nd, only to have Drayton tie it before the end of the frame... but an upset just wasn't meant to be, as Brooks scored 2 in the 3rd for the win
- Spruce Grove beat Whitecourt 3-2 in Whitecourt. Spruce Grove led most of the game besides midway into the first when the Wolverines tied in at 1 all, and until Spruce Grove scored the first of two in the 2nd midway through the period. Whitecourt ended up outshooting by 5 however.
- Okotoks beat Olds 3-2 in Olds. Wow, what a back and forth game there, Olds never led but tied it twice. Okotoks scored, then next goal was Olds, but they couldn't tie it a 3rd time. Okotoks outshot by a fair margin as well.
- Grande Prairie beat Sherwood Park 2-0 here in GP. Pretty close game to start from finish, but easily could have been 4 or 5 nothing if not for a few breaks the Crusaders got - off a goal post, and later a net dislodging when one went in - for examples. Kind of amusing empty netter goal though - not the prettiest, but it went in.
